Just watched the episode. It's no secret that I think pretty highly of Stacker News, but the discussion of @BlueSlime 's escrow transaction with blueslime made me realize how fortunate I am being exposed to these developments so early. To a man, these guys are so damn modest that sometimes the significance of their achievements escape me. The amount of work being put into this project is astounding. Of course, three quarters of the time the technical stuff is beyond my understanding, but the revolutionary technology being built is apparent.

Agree I’m so humbled to be working in Austin around these amazing bitcoiners. Few people realize Topher has contributed so much to bitcoin open source already. His work speaks for itself, honestly one of the most humble devs I’ve ever met.

I don't want to get carried away, but listening to Topher really rocked me. I have to wonder, regarding his escrow project in particular, whether there is awareness outside your Austin community and SN of the real world implications? This will be an incalculable improvement in the way complex business transactions are conducted. Part of me thinks this should be shouted from the mountain tops. Another part says be quiet; don't tell anybody. :)

Austin and Nashville today remind me of the Bay Area in the mid-90s as things were blowing up. The world and economy will advance greatly. One can feel it!
