Are the airgapped txt only for multi sig?

I'm playing around with a new hardware wallet on the tesnet.
And I'm a little confused with the airgapped capabilities. This feature is design to be used only with a multi sig wallet?
The issue is that on the JADE I've some fake SATs and I'm able to see and use this SATs on the green app or Sparrow.
But if I want to spend some of this SATs on Sparrow using the airgapped feature I'm not able to see my balance...hope this makes sense to you.
What am I doing wrong?

To see your balance you have to import the wallet xpub into Sparrow. Otherwise, what you have is a very secure, very excellent seedsigner.

Importing xpub is done.
In Sparrow there's the option for airgapped, when I scan for the Jade I don't see any balance.

Importing the xpub should let you view the wallet only without making transactions. Airgapped QR scans are for transactions, not balance look up. Did you import the xpub I to a new selecting xPub/Watch Only Wallet. The you use that for balance checks and scan QRs for transactions.
