I just learned how to make Kaymak - Turkish clotted cream, so good that you want to eat it everyday.
Get the fresh milk from cows, boil it, let it sit overnight, get the things floating on top then collect it, and done.
photo of cow baby! it seems cows are quite curious, look:)
When I was a kid I used to drink fresh milk directly from the cow's tits. Delicious and very healthy. Indeed kaymak is excellent, I know it. My grandma was doing the same as you explained and I always sneak into the room where she kept the milk over night and took all the kaymak. I was something like this...

when and why did we stop doing the same? I ordered raw milk from a farm last year, I didn't know I should heat it first, then I drink directly, it was so delicious 🙉 I mean isn't the whole point of buying raw milk is you drink it raw, otherwise why even bother?

Ah childhood memories, funny when you think back it is some of you nest times in life but in some instances you thought it could be your last. I remember eating the inside of my uncles wedding cake out and just closing the whole again, I got a beating of my life but it was worth it the cake was 😋 delicious.

Have you tried "Afyon kaymağı"? It is the number one "kaymak" 🤤

the best kaymak I've tried are from this cow's mum 😂 haha
I guess generally the real good ones are made with fresh milk and from healthy and happy cows.

No,no, no. You should try Afyon. Believe me. It is not cow milk. Afyon is made from small buffalo or mandate milk. Tastes very different.
