As always, I am interested in your predictions.
However this time, I know that it's hard to define what is meant with "Bitcoin Standard" unlike with the PM about WWIII.
Didn't know that what is considered to be a world war may be up for discussion. See? PMs trigger very interesting discussion since you not even need to be sure about your predictions if you want to participate.
You also need to define the thing you're betting on in such ways it's actually measurable.
So this time, just include in your prediction what you kind of Bitcoin Standard you're talking about. :)
Let it rip!
I have a rather pessimistic view of this. I think most people will regard Bitcoin as a speculative asset and be reluctant to spend their sats.
Unless companies like Bitwage expand tremendously and allow the general public to receive their wages in Bitcoin
Unless platforms like Fiverr accept Bitcoin as a payment mode. Sure there is Microlancer but seriously can people make a living out of microtasks?
But I doubt the above two scenarios are likely to happen, with governments pushing for adoption of their CBDCs.
So I don’t think the Bitcoin Standard will happen in my lifetime. Probably my son’s lifetime

How will people learn to be sovereign individuals?
Does someone just have to force them to read your guides? :)
If so, why don't you force them with the force? lol :)

why don't you force them with the force?
That part must be learnt by themselves... You can't force somebody to be free, as much as you want. If you force them, the rejecting force will be stronger than that they will start investigating.
Just show them the path, and each one will choose the time when will start it. Yes, this can affect you in some way, because what is the meaning that I am the only one free if the others are still locked up in the state cages? Just to laugh of them? No.
It's a slow process and all start by changing our way of thinking.

I feel it will happen in the next 3 halving events. So 12 years or so.

Getting merchants to accept Bitcoin is the ultimate card we have to reach the Bitcoin Standard. When people can easily exchange Bitcoin for goods and service then it is it for me.

Countries should make Bitcoin their legal tender just like what El Salvador did

To me, it is a journey of self. I feel I am already in a Bitcoin standard. It will always be a spectrum. I'm not sure how to measure when the whole world is on a Bitcoin standard.

In a circular economy. Even if you get paid in bitcoin, as long as you still have to exchange to fiat to pay at the grocery store or for your rent, it will remain just a pipe dream.

When a critical mass of individuals take on sovereignty, the Fed will succumb. My guess 18 years.
First, they will fight us

I feel that one of the biggest hurdles is the conversion to pricing items in satoshis.
The loaf of bread and cup of milk is X local currencies or how many satoshis? To rewire the brain thought and baseline thought of what does this item cost and how many do I earn a day.
It is a slow push to a Bitcoin standard and how we will use the items to practice trade with others.
Keep stacking and when it happens I hope you or yours has a small bag to enjoy the new world.

Once the volatility settles down, it won't be any different to adjusting to a different currency on a holiday.

That's the wrong question. The right question should be, where will we reach the Bitcoin standard? At my local meetup once a month, where everyone uses sats only, it's already there!
