I think they said the monthly replaces the daily.

I like that they are testing something new but also going to take some time getting used to not seeing the balance go up overnight via rewards and knowing the landlord comes knocking on the 5th of every month.

I'm a dimwit so bear with me. The rewards pool is 100k to 200k a day, which is like 3 mil a month. Is an additional 3 mil a month getting added, or are we just delaying and reshuffling the same rewards?
It's not additional it is just delayed.
I am wondering is it also how the change happened - like people used to work from daily to monthly? 😂

Okay. I just reread the original post. One question- Is it correct that all stackers will get the rewards they earn, not just the top 64? So a new stacker will earn whatever modest reward they would have received under a daily reward system, even if they aren't in the top 64?
so is this an experiment in regards to potentially making this a permanent change or just for this month as a special event?

I remember that fish being all the craze in the early 80s. Then word got out about it's real name!
not just the early 80s, it kept increasing in popularity through the 2000s until illegal fishing operations got word of how expensive it was and began to extract them faster than they could reproduce.

Will this affect daily territory payments?
All sats the previously went to daily rewards now go to monthly rewards, including donations.
Territory payouts will still happen daily.
