Interesseting country song and it seems very popular...

Sometimes I'm really not sure if it's satire of if they really think that much of themselves 🤣🤣
reply
actually i was wondering... ;)

oh man, I just wrote in the other one. I wanted to say, anyone listen to Warren Zevon? His music is excellent.
reply
Good morning everyone!

I always liked that song. From what I understand there are some people that think it's a love song, and that wasn't my impression!
reply
I thought it was a love song of sorts, but more about his feelings over a loss.
reply
Sorry, I wasn't very clear there. I was thinking back to someone that used it as a song at their wedding, and I wasn't thinking of the wider range of love songs.
reply
Ah I see. I think it can be interpreted as protective and appropriate for weddings very easily.

This track is fantastic.
Yaknow I heard that, fairly recently, became the target to be cancelled, as it was believed to be "creepy" and "stalkerish". I'm glad nothing came of it and we still have it. The police were fantastic artists as was sting in his solo career.
reply
Yes man, nowadays everything that deviates from what is politically correct is a target to be canceled, but this time they didn't get it hahaha

That's really easy to listen to. Great background music. Something that doesn't drag your attention away from whatever task you're doing.

If You Want It - Niteflyte
I really like this group although they weren't around very long. Only two albums before they disbanded.
reply
Yeah, it's a shame when that happens, there's a band I love for their technical capabilities called Anterior. Phenomenal guitarists but after two albums, packed up the gear and disbanded sadly. They were awesome live aswell!
Their second album was brilliant. This track has some wicked drums and some wonderfully harmonised guitars, I always liked how they used multiple guitarists to layer the harmonies on and showcase their solos.
reply
They certainly do have some technical skills! If I was that drummer I would have been on the floor with a heart attack after the first minute! I've always liked groups that have multiple guitarists, especially when they combine during the solos.
reply
Harmonising guitars in bridges and even in solos 🤌🤌 just fantastic.
Yeah that drummer really said "hold my beer" 😂
reply
When I was fairly young some friends had the short lived idea to start a band, and I started learning drums to play with them. I'm sure that it gets a lot easier with time, but for the short time we were playing together I developed both a great respect for drummers and very sore arms!
reply
I'll bet! Similar thing for me with guitarists!
reply
I'm certainly not going to say I was good any at it, but it was fun. I was only borrowing the kit from one of the other members, so when they gave up on the idea I quit practicing as well. I eventually got into guitar and keyboard, so the musical interest never really left!

The Strokes - Take It Or Leave It

Mornin 0x. Great track for today. The strokes are great!

something really fresh :) amazing mix of indie dance and drum & bass sound
reply
This came up on my drive to work today, thought you might enjoy, that industrial/tech metal style
Enjoyed that Jake Daniels track, cool and fun dance but with those indie sounds, the fusion of those styles really works, these tracks have been great.
reply
nice vocal! add to my daily playlist :)
reply
I've been diving down that industrial tech metal rabbit hole again...
This one from zardonic & voicians is a banger

Sweet baby moses in a wicker basket!!! 😱😱 That guitar!
The guitarist looks like he's meant to be in the sex pistols or something. Proper punk vibes. His playing is fantastic. Reminds me a little bit of Miyavi. That wicked slap technique, lots of tapping. Really cool.
let me know what you think of this.
reply
nice one , thks :)
reply
Would you believe me if I told you… that guitar is a bass
Also that’s cool, I haven’t seen miyavi before. Thanks for sharing! Super tight.

Nooooo, I'm going to have to rewatch (I played it but didn't get to see much of the video because I'm "working") now I look a right fool mistaking a bass. I thought the duel neck was part bass part guitar. But only glanced at it as I switched tabs. I'll have to check it again. Phenomenal technique if it's all bass, especially considering the tones sound much more... Treble clef than bass clef for lack of a better description.
