Yes three separate start points, the paths I wanted to make semi-easy to figure out and the start points being most important. There is a particular theme with the puzzle and the three start points, perhaps I should've made it more clear but knowing history should help solve each starting point. And maybe adding the painting underneath just added confusion but the painting isn't needed at all to solve it, just kind of an easter egg afterwards.
Last hint I'd give is note the amount of columns and rows, and the placement of the capital J's and S's
The answer is going to be 22 characters long, right? That's not from the puzzle, that's just what I'm noticing from ln.cash, but I want to make sure that's right

I'm just following a path rather than "decrypting", right? In other words, do columns/rows need to shift? Basically not sure what to do with that last hint lol
Also want to confirm that paths wrap the grid if necessary
reply
No shifting, wrapping or decrypting (other than the riddles) necessary. Tomorrow is a large clue as well..

Right... Yeah I get the theme, I figured the 77th anniversary was probably inspiration
Ok so last technical question, and if this doesn't help idk lol
For (0,0) (1,-1) (1,0) ...
There are 8 different ways to interpret this:
These could be coordinates relative to a single point OR These could be a path where you start a (0,0) and go to 2nd location, and from the 2nd to 3rd, etc (although I believe this "path" would have to wrap the grid, so I think this is ruled out)
From there, it's not clear which coordinate is horizontal (x) and which is vertical (y)
And then from there, +1 on the vertical coordinate could mean UP directionally, or it could mean DOWN if it's meant to increment the row number
The easiest way to answer this question would be to let me know what are the correct coordinates for (0,0) (1,-1) (1,0) if you start from "5" in your picture

Yeah I didn't notice the x and y axis' that the circles already kinda made, or I probably wouldn't have used coordinates like this. I figured using them at the clue start point 0,0 then plotting according to that and drawing a path.

Like, is (1,0) up, down, or right? same question for (0,1)

If the center "5" were the starting point, 5EFH7q6, plotting as (x, y)
Could you give an example of how you would draw that path if you started at "5" in the picture?
