I really admire how some Turkish ladies can make so many things, from cooking, cleaning, knitting to sewing, but it is NEVER too late to learn! *especially if I would be someone's mum one day, better to pick up these skills slowly I think.* 🤔

Lightweight Singer machine; range of stitch options and variable speed via foot pedal is all you need. Hand cranks are fine but are an extra hassle and you may struggle with tensioning stitches. Check out thrift and charity shops if you do want an old school one though.
