Final Show : India vs South Africa

I'm super excited not only for India making it to the final but also for SA creating history for making it for the first time. If you ask me, I would suggest you to watch this game as both teams match fire with fire on all counts be it bowling, batting or fielding. It's however interesting to see whether their two biggest players will come out of the shade tomorrow! Will it be a night for Kohli's class or Klassen's prowess!
For the first time ever, an undefeated team will lift the Men's T20 World Cup when India and South Africa contest the final in Barbados on Saturday. It will also be the first day-time T20 World Cup final.

Pool Stats:

This is the final and it will bring curtains to the pool. Finally, we'll find survivor/survivors of the pool. Not much to say here now (will talk about pool's worth and follies later), let's see where our pool stands in the last...

Current Pool Prize

29445 -10% for fees

Participating Stackers:

Survivors

This is a decider and all survivors have to pick a clear winner to be the winner now. If two or more Stackers are tied the pool prize will be equally divided among them.
If you're thinking that it's all over for Cricket, let me tell you I've planned something even bigger this time for all of you. Please explore this new game...

I like the best daily posts for matches for it created engagement.
If there's something that I can needs a look again is the Maiden Over
If it wasn't for the maiden over, it would have been more competitive. Out of 14 or 15 participants 5 are winners is a big number... Else everything was fine...
Congratulations @coinsreporter for a successful pool...

Well played! Congratulations and Enjoy the sats!
Thanks for the suggestions. I will try to make it a bit more competitive next time....

Really enjoyed

Confusion cleared. Thank you!
Nice format and the constant engagement was great. Opportunity to buy back in (especially with so many matches) was welcome - not sure many of us would have made it otherwise.

Congratulations! Well played!

I really liked the new mechanisms you introduced to our survivor pools. Also, just having another person running sports contests is great.
This was kind of a slow time for American sports so it was an especially fun time for a cricket pool.
reply
I'm so grateful to you for taking part in the pool. As for experiments, I'll keep adding up new mechanism. I believe that sports are one of the best places that get us all together.
Well played!! The next time, we'll make it bigger and better.

Thank you to #Stacker_Sports and SN and especially @Coinsreporter for making this possible. I really liked how every matchday post about each team was so detailed, ball by ball coverage, complete summary of the match and above all each of us got mentioned in the post so we couldn’t miss it even if we wanted to lol.
Overall it was an amazing experience to participate and share our knowledge of cricket and learn more from all of you.
Looking forward to engage more and participate in the new Fantasy Cricket League as well.
Congratulations to all the winners. Well played all of you.

I have to admit with 4 overs to go I was pretty confident that SA we’re getting over the line. India looked beaten at that point but that catch totally changed the game. Looking forward to getting involved in the fantasy cricket now!
reply
Yes, I also felt the same way. But it's what Cricket is all about.

Congratulations to @carlosfandango

Did I not survive? Damn. Well done everyone and well done @Coinsreporter

Ahh! There was a slight confusion!
I just thought that you picked SA as winners but it was @MB. So sorry, just a human error. But pat on my back because I have a habit of rechecking ....
Congratulations!!!!
reply
Oh. Ok. Thank you. I was sure I picked India despite my liking for Klaasen’s current IPL form! Next stop The Hundred!

Thanks for taking the time and effort to do this. You really went the extra mile with your detailed, frequent posts, and general hand holding. I honestly don't feel confident in my cricket knowledge. I plan on making an effort to learn more. Regarding the contest, the whole maiden betting technique was completely new to me. It almost seemed unfair to avoid a pick. I'm ready for the next pool!

Thank you so much!
Well played! Congratulations!
I applied the maiden over considering that the tournament had 52 matches but yes, when it was extended to the super 8s didn't work well, I accept. You know that was my first pool. From here it's gonna be better and bigger. Thanks for your support and love!

Congratulations

Going to have to back India… I think they have a wider spread and depth of talent. Having said that, i am looking forward to Klaasen taking on the spinners.

Not yet. I'll check it out, but it might be too complicated for me. I can't even handle fantasy games for sports I understand.
reply
It's not that complicated. You just need to pick your best 11 out of 22 from both teams and be wise while picking captains and vice captains. I'm gonna run it for a test for few matches and will see if that's worth going ahead. So, I think it's not big a deal participating there.
reply
Okay. I'll try

Thanks! I can promise you that it'll be quite entertaining.

South Africa After watching England get destroyed yesterday it’s easy to see why India are favourites. Plus it feels like the tournament has been set up for India. But…… South Africa keep pulling out the results.
Can’t wait for this game. It’s going to be a cracker
reply
Very close! You were almost a winner of the pool.

With 4 overs left I really thought SA would do it. Fantastic comeback by India, just sums up how fantastic the game of cricket can be.
reply
most of the pundits who predicted last 50-50 World Cup hosted in India gone wrong so this time as well when you are playing in another foreign land, you never know who is going to be the winner. I’m not going back India but let’s see who day the heavy lifting.

India.

Thanks! Noted.

That's why I created Fantasy Cricket Legue. The fun must go on...
reply
Even though I have a feeling that South Africa are going to crush India tomorrow but I’ll stick with my original pick INDIA as winners.

I don't think I have the bandwidth for a fantasy league. Have fun with it!
reply
It won't require so much bandwith I think. There will be daily post with all the details about the match (A pre match analysis as well) and you just have to select your team of 11 players. That's all.
