You're probably right regarding sheer numbers, just based on my sense of things. If a republican administration decided to clean house, the replacements would be as lazy and corrupt, IMO.

Government workers are parasites by nature. I don't see any long term solutions. Best to focus on controlling the size of the beast.

Yeah, your numbers are probably right. It's still going on re Long Island. I have personal knowledge of it through close family and friends.
