And you are right about this. They will just be replaced with new lazy and corrupt people. Government jobs should be overlooked more carefully.

Government workers are parasites by nature. I don't see any long term solutions. Best to focus on controlling the size of the beast.

Yes, controlling it and minimizing their benefits. Having a government job should be a public service, not the public serving them.

You're probably right regarding sheer numbers, just based on my sense of things. If a republican administration decided to clean house, the replacements would be as lazy and corrupt, IMO.
