The Turkish people living in Anatolia today used to define themselves as Ottomans 100 years ago. They didn't know they were Turkish. The language of literacy was a made-up language called Ottoman, which was similar to Arabic. For this reason, all humanity continues to confuse us with Arabs. And they're not wrong about that. Because even we learned that we are Turks 100 years ago. Sad but true!

Origin of the expression "daylight robbery"
In 1696, William III of England introduced a property tax which required those living in houses with more than six windows to pay a levy. In order to avoid the tax, house owners would brick up all windows except six. (The Window Tax lasted until around 1851, and older houses with bricked-up windows are still a common sight in UK.) As the bricked-up windows prevented some rooms from receiving any sunlight, the tax was referred to as daylight robbery.

New information is emerging about the responses of plants to sound and the associated downstream signaling pathways. Here, beyond chemical triggers which can improve plant health by enhancing plant growth and resistance, we provide an overview of the latest findings, limitations, and potential applications of sound wave treatment as a physical trigger to modulate physiological traits and to confer an adaptive advantage in plants. We believe that sound wave treatment is a new trigger to help protect plants against unfavorable conditions and to maintain plant fitness
