I really don't know how to start this post, I'm not even sure of the title, I've written and deleted it several times, but this is what it turned out like.

I was disconnected for approximately 3 days because I had no Internet and just when I was able to reconnect, I found this:

They are raising funds to overthrow, search for or catch Nicolás Maduro and his inner circle, yes, just as you read it. Is this real? I don't believe it, is it a scam? That's the most obvious thing. This is what it says in the "Who we are" section:

It makes me cringe to see these videos.

This is what they have raised in just 30 hours since they enabled the page, I just checked this amount today, September 18 at 12:07 p.m.

To make matters worse, their insistence on saying that it is an "honest" collection, which people should "trust" is too suspicious.

They have even made argument errors that prove this is wrong.

There is a great debate among the Venezuelan population, those who want to believe in these illusions and those of us who are outraged. It should be noted that none of the "opposition leaders" have spoken out on the matter, they have not said "everyone go and donate!", but neither have they denied it or said something like "don't fall for scams." Their silence only indicates that they are benefiting from these donations.

I have nothing more to add, this is an insult to the hopelessness of the people, it is an insult to the people who want a free country, it is an insult to the prisoners accused of terrorism for protesting and even worse, it is an insult to the mothers who lost the lives of their children.

I apologize. Let me explain: Erick Prince and Ivan Simonovis (a Venezuelan criminal investigator) created a page called "almost Venezuela" where they are raising money to supposedly cover and manage to go after Nicolas Maduro, catch him, and hand him over to the DEA since he is wanted and they are giving a reward of 15 million dollars to hand him over alive. I mean, this is a scam because there is no consistency in the arguments, and it is illusory to believe that you can hire a military army publicly through social media to overthrow a government.

This is a scam from start to finish, the most regrettable thing is what the masses think, I have spoken with a couple of acquaintances, and both had almost the same opinion - I am going to donate my $ 10 or $ 20 with faith because that company and that gentleman do not need that money, they are Americans and a serious and well-known company, that is, trustworthy - once they told me that I did not continue the conversation 🗨️ immediately they are assuring me that they are too asleep to understand reality, it is the same as when you try to tell someone normie that the dollar is a ponzi. 🤷

If the site and the project were legit, not sure if an American soldier involve in taking down a Government would be the best outcome for the country.

The ideal solution would be the Venezuelans solving their own problem.

Any country involve in solving a problem, will ask for many things in return.

I am tired of saying it, but Venezuelans are still waiting for a messiah. I have said it several times here, the best and only option we have is for the military, police and the National Guard to stop supporting the regime and they themselves are the ones to capture him or for there to be a very violent revolt in the country and they manage to enter the Miraflores palace and the citizens themselves get him out of there. The opposition to an international military intervention is not feasible and as you say it will be under many conditions and it will not be cheap. I do not want Venezuela to be a colony or a dictatorship.

We have lived the same number of years under communism and I hate it as much as you do. I am not trying to convince anyone of anything, everyone believes what they want. The only thing you can blame me for is that I like to talk about my country, I like to express all the shit that people live there, I don't just talk or publish what the news says but also what my family and I have suffered there. The best thing you have done is to report this and we should do it on all the networks, this is a blatant scam. The United States government is already putting a reward on the head of Maduro and some of his henchmen, so there is no need to do this. They are using cryptocurrencies to not leave a trace, the typical scam. The bad thing about this is that usually the most needy ones that these dictatorships oppress fall.

People who are denouncing this and warning others are labeled as "Chavistas" or as supporting the Maduro regime. I understand that people no longer have any kind of hope and cling to anyone who makes them promises they want to hear, they are blinded by emotions and do not stop for a moment to analyze the situation. It is 3:40 pm and this is the amount they have, most likely they will reach a million dollars in a matter of hours.

EXACTLY!! After this announcement, many people wrote to them pointing out that this is a damn scam, that they don't even take the modesty to inform themselves before writing such a message. Then they excused themselves saying this: "Correction, Department of Justice prosecutor*. (We apologize for the error.)"

That is one of the biggest scams right now. Politicians truly believe that people are going to put their cryptocurrencies or their assets in something that is not going to happen because the dictatorship does not come out by force of calls, by force of protests. Politicians believe that people are going to fall for that farce, the same example of when the opposition Guaidó asked for funds to help Venezuelans and where did those funds go? Good question, right?
