I've had a look at their profiles, they haven't even reached 1k items in years. How can someone be contributing without actually writing on SN. I believe the list is correct. Full marks to @coinsreporter to exclude them.

One good post can add as much value as many comments. How much you post has nothing to do with how much value you add. You could be just spamming. It's a necessary condition for consistent contributions though but your comment sounds more about contributions at all.
My fault. It was a dumb idea, probably. I'm talking about really smart, very low profile guys who have been here forever. I'm not on the list. Guys like @nout, @jimmysong, @final, @supertestnet, @justin_shocknet, @petertodd,@benthecarman,@DarthCoin, @mallardshead,etc. There are a lot more. They emerge out of no where once in a while to explain something
