Episode 3 is out!
We discuss all the current, recent, and upcoming ~Stacker_Sports challenges and how much fun some of the strategizing has been:
We shouted out @BlokchainB's recaps of his teams' latest games (example #732897) and talked about a future where every team has similar fan coverage on ~Stacker_Sports.
After all the territory stuff, we overreact to October basketball and talk possible NFL trades.
Give us a listen and share your thoughts, then write some posts for us to talk about next week.
Great episode guys and audio sounds fantastic! Really impressed with @Undisciplined tactics at UEFA pool.

Thanks! It's nice to be able to apply some of the otherwise useless knowledge I've accumulated about using data effectively.

I will be listening in. Did you talk about baseball at all?
reply
Yes, baseball, football and basketball.
reply
I'm sorry for the slight delay in Big Bash Pool.
However you'll be required ti add another the next time which is bigger and better Cricket pool. I've mde a post about the pool and filled in the pot with 220k sats already. Here's the link to the post. Announcement: Stacker_Sports Cricket Pool.
The pool is open for everyone. No buy in and it's fun and simple. You only need to take care of two things - Score More RUNS and Don't get OUT.
I'll be listening the POD a little later, I hope you'll pardon me for me being running late.
reply
I saw your post. We'll have to have a whole ongoing cricket segment for the pod.
reply
Thanks 🙏 can't wait for it.
What was something that you liked most about the new Cricket pool?
reply
I like the idea of having a continuous contest and it's neat how you have both month;y and yearly prizes.

continuous contest
It's been running in my mind for a long time. I got a little confused between buy in and free to join.
After, the women's pool I posted and it didn't get as many stackers as I anticipated, I just thought that it'd be better to start with 'free to join' then 'opening rebuys'.
CC: I'm Sorry @grayruby. Marketing my pool on your pod post. ;)

I only had time to listen to the beginning so far, but I noticed right away that both of you really sound like you're getting comfortable with each other and the format of what you're doing. Your rapport flowed naturally, like two guys just talking. Excellent. I'll listen to the rest throughout the day, but you guys have something good going. Congrats.
reply
Thanks Siggy. We made sure to get our audio levels evened out, too. I thought it might seem more like a real conversation if our volumes matched and feel more energetic if GrayRuby was louder.
reply
Yes. I think that made a difference. Gray was definitely at a lower volume the first two weeks. It really sounds good now.

If I lose to you again I'm gunna claim you're doing some kind of Voodoo. 🤣🤣 Good luck this weekend, it's gunna be a great match up.
reply
If you win the pick ‘em again it will be pretty funny next week.
reply
🤣🤣 hey I put all of about 3 and a half seconds on thought into this week's picks.
reply
You must be hitting the level where the game really slows down for you. You're seeing the whole field (and other sports cliches).
reply
I've definitely expanded my route tree 🤣🤣
reply
I even gave you some free points, because I didn't set my lineup before TNF, so no Kupp or Nacua.
reply
And my upcoming 7-1 record thanks you for your service 🫡
reply
Good luck!
Mahomes is going for 50 against the Raiders. This is going to be his get-right game.
reply
I hope not. Him being bad makes me happy.
reply
I hope not too

The never ending internal struggle of wanting a fantasy asset to succeed but that same real life asset to suck.
reply
There's no struggle for me. I'll be fully committed to rooting for Chiefs' ineptitude.
