I’d be surprised to see follow through tbh
He didn't build a wall, he didn't repeal Obamacare, he won't replace all taxes with tariffs, he won't create a federal Bitcoin reserve. Maybe I'll be wrong.
I highly doubt you are wrong. It would be great to see, but this isn’t something he can do by firing someone.
I think he will do it. I don't think they will spend a lot on it though, nor would I want them to.
Who knows? Maybe he tries, and fails? Maybe he doesn't try at all? Maybe he tries and succeeds.
There's just no telling what someone is saying in order to get elected, versus what they will really do. Time will tell i suppose.
I just watched Pawn Stars in which Aardvark Antiques was featured, and now I see your nym, that can't be a frickin' coincidence!!
It's not. I am everywhere.
I don't have a strong feeling about this, but it seems plausible that they would do this. It will likely be smaller than Lumis' target, though.
LOL people are really fucked up in their brains.
WNGMI
Don't you fucking understand that a "bitcoin reserve" it means 2 important things:
WHEN PEOPLE WILL WAKE THE FUCK UP ?
But piles of fiat! That’s why many are “into” Bitcoin.
100% agreed. Don't give the state any more money or any more power.
It's pure populism to trick the simple minded.
bring it on, just dont tell darth
I disagree with Darth on a lot of things but I strongly agree with him on this one. Fuck all expansions of the state - no matter iin which form they come
HBDGAF
I don't know if he'll do it, but if he does, it'll be a fucking bad thing...
This would be a public strategic Bitcoin reserve. It's highly unlikely that the US holds no bitcoin.
If he doesn’t then all politicians are liars
Governments don't have money. They steal our money. They are not fundamentally productive organizations.
I'm thinking there is a 50/50 between a maybe/maybe and a possibly/possibly
It's not a good thing to let anyone have too much of the supply. We all had to work for out sats while they can just print to purchase.
I think it won't be so easy to do this, but I guess we'll see what happens in the coming years.
They aren't getting mine, that's what I know for sure.
I don't care and Bitcoin doesn't care
Idk how this could be a good thing for Bitcoin. Can someone explain?
I think he frees Ross (maybe not day one) But I don't think the BTC reserve will happen. And I don't care either way.
no
Data from VisualCapitalist shows that today the USA has 8,133 tons of gold in its reserves. Geopolitically as the world is today, I don't doubt that Bitcoin will be treated this way by the United States.
A yeah that's good
