I have been scrolling through posts here, and you guys seem to have a way of looking at geopolitics that just makes sense. Like, it’s so different from the usual takes out there, and I love how it helps me see things in a completely new way. But I have no idea how to think like that. How did you all get so good at understanding Geopolitics? Is it about the news you follow, the books you’ve read, or some unique perspective you’ve built over time?
I could really use some pointers on
What news sources should I avoid because they’re just noise? Which ones are actually worth paying attention to? Any books or resources that were a game-changer for you when it comes to geopolitics?
I want to learn and understand things on a deeper level like you guys do. Seriously, any advice or even small tips would be awesome. Thanks for helping me out.
Books like "Broken Money:"by Lyn Alden highlight how global finances work.
"The creature from jekyll island" gives you a big insight into central banking. (There's probably better books for that)
The thing is, when you see who controls money, how money flows from the global South to the global North, and the incentive structure for people in power to act poorly, it gives you a different lense to look through.
I'm probably not the best person on SN to talk to about geopolitical issues, but my understanding of the world around me has increased significantly just by learning about money.

Focus on Bitcoin only not on crap politics. Politics is meaningless and misleading. Bitcoin is all that matters.

Read books - anything that catches your interest/calls to you. When you lose interest in it, don't feel the need to keep reading it, start reading another book.
