My wife's family and mine are far away, so we don't get together as a family, nor do we get together with other families to fill the void.
On our own, yesterday we went for a walk all day to the beach, and at night we went out to dinner and to see the Christmas decorations, my daughter loves the lights and ornaments.
Today we dedicate the day completely to our daughter, playing, doing crafts, watching a Christmas movie, and possibly at night we go to a Christmas-themed park to continue appreciating the decorations.
In addition, my 7-year-old daughter is very excited, one of her Christmas gifts was a "Tablet" with which she will now be able to play "Bitcoin Bay - THNDR GAMES" and be able to earn some SATS.
She is excited because she will now be able to earn her own SATS and at the same time she is sad because she will no longer be able to help mom earn some SATS by playing on her phone, as she did until recently.
They give few SATS.
but it is something fantastic anyway.
it is also varied.
it works through a lottery when you play, you win some tickets and with those tickets you participate for a portion of the SATS pie. every day they give out 1 pie every hour.
for one hour you play and accumulate tickets 🎫 that after the draw will be SATS. and once you win the SATS without a minimum withdrawal limit, you can send to your LN wallet
Merry Christmas!
I went out with my daughter in afternoon and later went on a short hiking trip with my friends. Now I'm home and relaxing as Christmas is nearly over here.
We spent Christmas Eve at my cousin's house. My cousins were like siblings, which I'm thankful for now that I'm the only one left of my nuclear family. Good food and drink, and reminiscing about our childhoods. Those memories go back a half a century now.
Today we'll have a quiet dinner with my mother in law and brother in law.
Actually it was like a typical Saturday, except for my kids waking up extra early to open their presents. I subsequently went to the recycling machine to clear the packaging and paper. We went to the supermarket to shop for groceries haha. Very mundane haha
Merry Christmas!!
I'm in north India and my family don't have much knowledge about it. Still it's a holiday so my mom's been preparing this seasons first 'Gajar ka halwa' a sweet dish and some poodi and kachodi, typical Indian. I've been saying to my mom 'Merry Christmas' again and again to listen 'same to you' in return in her typical english pronunciation. My wife sang jingle bells when insisted but in return I've to promise her some expensive gift for new year.
Opening presents, making a largish meal, hanging with family. Hopefully a walk, hopefully good talks. Trying to encourage people to keep screen time minimal.
