To receive you only need a LN address from your lnbits (you can have many, each paylink is one).
To send using alby extension you just have to link directly to your lnd node or lnbits account. In alby you have options. You do not need alby hub just for zapping on nostr. Alby hub is for when you do not have a lnbits.
The same is for SN. You can link it directly to your LND node, or to lnbits, or receive to a specific LN address and send from a lnbits account.
I'm sorry I'm still having trouble understanding the process:
  1. Where do I get the LN address from LNbits?
  2. When I navigate to Alby connection page (https://getalby.com/connections) it has LNDHub option, but to connect to other wallets such as Zeus or BlueWallet. LNBits has the same options - I only have the option to connect get details for connecting to those wallets and no place I can see where I could input the LNDhub credentials from Alby for example

  1. LNURL Paylink https://github.com/lnbits/lnurlp - configure your own LN address
  2. In Alby extension click on add new connection and you get this:
Having a Voltage node and a LNbits, you can connect it through multiple options as you can see (LND, LNbits, LNDhub, Voltage).
Alby in this case will be only the provider of a NWC connection. That's all.

Thanks a bunch! This really helps. I was trying to complete the Alby connection from the wrong place... I was at https://getalby.com/connections and not in the extension lol I think I got it right now.
