Hello & Happy New Year!

I've a friend who is running a small business in Costa Rica and he wants to find an easy way to use BCT as a payment method.

He has is own web site on BOKUN (tripadvisor) and on the site, the clients can book and pay for the tours. (They charge a good fee for the service!)

I recommend him to use https://lncal.com/

But, what else is out there?

What would be the easiest way to integrate BTC in his tourism business?

I think any wallet except coinbase because it is based on ethereum transactions and polygon. Some wallets like ccwallet provides such service.

From the programmatic point of view, the ideal would be to add a plugin on the Web similar to Woocommerce of Wordpress that allows payment gateway in bitcoin, on the other hand the organization of payments and commissions of their workers. on the Web customers can book using bitcoin, created such a gateway on the Web, would be the best integration. because it is very easy to book on the web and when paying when you deploy the payment area, the payment option with the address of the wallet to deposit and the customer send their BTC in sats to that address. this plugin would be great to open the BTC as a digital asset and payment method. it would also be appropriate to use LN as a fast and secure payment network, to not saturate the gateway. all those sats would go to an account, whether custodian or not (at the owner's choice) to program a website of any service with payments in BTC would be revolutionary. thanks for sharing. sats for everyone.

It doesn't matter, just post it as a service adjacent to accommodations. If you are a tourist and get a rental, are not also want a tourist guide in the package?

As I said, who is booking a tourist rental in a foreign place, is also looking for a tourist guide if is available. These rental places are the best place to advertise these kind of services.
