No question Biden was a disaster, and I'm confident Trump will be better for the US than Harris would have been. I just don't think it makes sense from a cost/benefit analysis to run his mouth about meaningless issues.
Regardless this is Trump as you said. I expect nothing less.
I do kinda love it for this reason. It exposes the messed up priorities of people. Trump offends mostly because he doesn't care about their sacred traditions or doing things the way they have been done. He's an embarrassment. They will talk more about WORDS he says than the blood shed by other presidents. They get more angry at him for these trivial things than they do about the killing of people in wars, the destruction of wealth, or the outright graft of politicians.
It exposes the fact that the state is an idol that many people worship and they hate him because he is the turd in the punch bowl. He profanes their sacred institutions. Its also why they hated J6 so much. The fact that so many now wish we had W Bush instead of Trump says it all. I don't like either of them but one of these is not like the other.
The view of politicians and the positions they hold NEEDS to be brought down to the joke it is in reality. The reverence of these offices is disgusting to me. Its a religion in everything but name.

This is very true.

And I honestly think the media and elite class does more damage to itself by obsessing over his words than Trump does damage to himself.
I agree that Trump running his mouth is not helpful, but the elites obsessing over it is worse for them than it is for Trump.

I don't know. Maybe I just find the guy to be such an asshole. As a New Yorker, he's been in the spotlight since the 1970s, I think. As a defense lawyer, the crap he pulled with the Central Park jogger case was really bad. I also have trouble getting past his almost instant covid lockdowns and embracing Fauci and the vaccine. Still, I'm glad he beat Kamala.
reply
A little tid bit on this that makes you burst out laughing is Trump alone is responsible for the vaccine being created as fast as it was and alllllll the Dems including Kamala talked about how they "would never take a Trump vaccine" then they did and rammed it down everyone's throats.
I think that in COVID it showed how he wasn't a politician and it was a clear sign of where he lacked anyone he knew about diseases and stuff of this magnitude. Economy, foreign relations, etc. you can use a business mindset and do well but a disease spreading like COVID did... yeah it doesn't work then.
reply
I remember that "Trump vaccine" crap by the democrats. Amazing hypocrisy.
reply
It always has made me laugh and honestly same with vaccine skeptics that would point at the Dems and such and I would just go uhhh this was not the Dems doing this was Trump the Dems just went a bridge to far and demanded it to be taken by everyone.

Its a beautiful example of how political parties lead people away from rational thought.
For me the shot thing was simple.
  • This is a fairly new and not widely tested treatment.
  • This disease does not have a high fatality rate
  • I'm not old or at risk
  • No one in my immediate circle is at risk
  • Those pushing it have been lying about many things including this shot and its origins
  • The drug companies have virtually no risk of litigation
  • I don't trust any of the people telling me I have to do this
I could go on but you get the idea. I mean just a couple of these would be reason enough for me to abstain but the reasons just piled up. There was a time when I thought I would lose my job (thanks to Biden) due to my decision but it ended up working out for me.
Glad I didn't take it. Glad I didn't quit my job. Glad I kept my integrity (stuck to my beliefs no matter the cost). Some people quit. Some took the shot and regretted it. Some had complications due to the shot.
Its truly evil what was done to the masses. I thought I was red-pilled before Covid but I wasn't red-pilled enough. There are truly evil forces at work in positions of power.
So many examples of these slime balls doing stuff like this. The mail in ballets are a great example. Both parties have both supported and opposed it. So many examples.
Its almost like politicians are opportunistic sociopaths seeking power and glory. Like they aren't actually public servants...
I mean, don't they know they work for us? lol

Makes sense. My dad was working in New York in the 80s. And he absolutely hates Trump, and says Trump represents everything bad about America.
I don't disagree, honestly. But look at what the Democrat Party has become... I truly think Trump is going to be better for the country than Kamala, and would've been better for a second term than Biden.
Personally, I would've preferred to see a DeSantis / Andrew Yang faceoff.

Yeah, I have never liked Trump the guy. He's a douchbag. I do like how much he triggers terrible people in power though. There are many evils in the US and he's not even close to the worst. That's what gets me.
My view is largely system wide though so I don't care that much. I wanna see the state fall from its lofty place of importance in people's minds. I want to see it de-fanged and one of the biggest sources of its power is belief in it.
Trump is a tool to divide just as Obama, Clinton, and Bush were before him. We are constantly being psyoped to be at each other's throats. Its how these evil people maintain control.

As a Republican working for a Republican Committee (amazingly esp in the Senate some people actually cross the aisle so ya gotta sometimes say it lol) I would never want to be Trumps friend. His policies for the most part I agree with but as a person... that's not my cup of tea so to speak the way he carries himself and acts is in my opinion isn't great.
reply
What's your opinion of Andrew Yang?
reply
I think he has some really good ideas I do not think though he would have been good as a President at the moment. He needs more experience in managing either a huge company or an agency in the government something that is massive and has a trillion factors going on.
Policy-wise I think he is a little to optimistic but I think that's a good thing to aim high and when it doesn't work out how you want its alright
No argument here. Years ago he was involved in a local real estate deal where I live and the way he carried himself and talked about where I live... I've never forgotten that.

Yeah I am hopeful that with having a trifecta and more importantly this time around not having Trump skeptics in the Republican Party that we can really address some of the key points.
Case in port the Laken Riley Act is going to be voted on by The House today. Now I think the Senate will hold off until President Trump takes office because I think Biden would be the one who would sign off on this piece of common sense legislation but it will be one of the first things sent to Trump's desk.
