Cool, thanks for the example. We union all activity except the current hour with the activity of the current hour to display aggregate values. We must be missing something.
We'll probably remove the leaderboard before too long. People spend a lot more time obsessing over it than I anticipated and it creates a kind of un-virtuous response in general. We have a PR that'll give you aggregate stats at the end of the day so stackers will still get this info but won't need to obsess about it all day.
The leaderboard is awesome, don't ruin it!

We won't ruin it. We'll just remove it.

Bright side is that maybe I can just post things that I want to talk about without worrying about being labeled an assmilker.

finally!

The leaderboard could remain, but without the individual stacker stats. Just the rankings and perhaps an estimated daily reward. I believe this will help keep new stackers.

We get more complaints and whining about the leaderboard than any other thing on the site. And people are upset about it, seething with entitlement and, seemingly, greed. It's also correlated with a decline in site growth.

I have a feeling the drop had more to do with the two months of MSM than the leaderboard. Maybe we should do a poll to see what people think?

No. Most people don't know what they actually want consciously.
People communicate what they want best through their actions, and stackers' actions indicate the leaderboard is pathological even if they insist it's great.

I think some of the fun is going to fade.
