Thinking about running a lightning routing node with only 0.1-0.25 bitcoin
I'll be interested to see the results as that's an actual realistic amount of bitcoin for me to be able to get my hands on.

.25 might be overkill, depending on how you use it.
Why overkill? I think if you want to route payments, your channels can’t be too big.
I think I’ll go with following channel allocations: 3x5m+2x4m+2m
It's always a trade off, but... with those small amount (for a routing node), maybe using the "dual" from https://lightningnetwork.plus/swaps to coordinate and double the size.
But before that... which implementation of LN are you going to use? are you going to have a clearnet only connection, Tor... or both?
What are your objective? stack sats (routing fee)? or using to develop something on top of that?.
