Next week on Monday I will have my usual parent-teacher conference at the school.

Like every semester I will inform the parents about the schedule, important dates, the balance of the class bank account and so on.

But this year I want to add slides! Since I added slides of parental responsibilities last year, I will do it a little differently this year.

This year I will start my presentation with a catchy title:

It is my job to give them knowledge, but I can only do that if they are protected from evil by their parents, given norms and values on how to interact with society in a certain way, and loved so that they can go out and face the world.

Most of the parents I meet these days lack at least two of these tasks, but most lack all of them.

Nobody gives their children any attention anymore, they do not care about their own children's days, how school was, how the grades are, what is going on in their lives. So why should the children care if the parents do not care?

They are not protecting their children from evil. If they want to smoke at 14, they are free to do so! If they want to try drugs at 15, man, we were young too. If they do not like their biological sex, why not change it? If they cannot handle the street in life, why not put them on drugs?

Morals, norms or values? What is that? Others are not nice either, so why should my child behave? Do you know how hard that is? I cannot be strict with my child, I will not punish him. Maybe it will not love me anymore. You should do that! You are the teacher! And if you cannot teach them norms in two hours a week, while I do not even try the rest of the week, then it is your fault if my child behaves badly!

What I will say to them on Mondey is "Fuck you" in a very polite way!

It is not my job and it will not be my job to be the parent for their children! They want the state to take the responsibility and have the freedom to do nothing.

But I do not play that game. They have the wrong teacher! Fuck the state, fuck them! You want freedom, you take responsibility. You don't want to take responsibility? Your child can go to another school, or your child will have the worst years in my class!

But luckily he or she will learn something, because from you useless prick they will learn nothing but failure.

Life is hard! Deal with it!
