But the comments are what matter!

I recalculated the revenue and it's 2249 sats for yesterday not 1814.

I counted the values for ~healthandfitness as following

  • Post fee = 69
  • Comment fee = 7
  • Zaps = 21% of total sats zapped

So, yesterday's stats stand as:

  • posts = 6×69=414 Sats
  • comm.= 66×7=462 Sats
  • zaps = 6641%21 = 1373 Sats
  • Total = 2249 Sats in revenue.

*This also doesn't include fees and zaps on previous days' posts or comments. If it does, the revenue could be more.

Please correct me if I'm wrong at it.

Today's calculation.

54 comments = 378 Sats revenue
5 posts = 345 sats revenue
Zaps = 2568•21% = 539
Total = 1262 Sats.

Not what I got just now

reply

It's 107 Sats less.
It also doesn't include any zaps that cod have happened on any other posts than yesterday's.
There's something missing and noone's from the admins even bothered to address it.

I'll be back thursday. I'll investigate when I get back. ek is/has been taking personal time.

This isn't exactly motivating. You've memorably been a huge asshole to me. Don't expect prompt service.

@k00b's on vacation, still. Not sure about @ek.

I suggest making a ~meta post about this, so the other owners can look into their revenue.

reply

Did you base yesterday on 12am ct to 12am ct?

reply

I don't know how to do it. I calculated from 11:30AM IST to 11:30AM IST round the clock.

There were 6 posts, 66 comments and 6641 sats zapped within them on this timeframe.

11:30 AM IST is the time when rewards are distributed.

Edit: I've checked that 11:30 IST happens to be 12:AM CT, so I actually set the time.

I calculated from post to post and comment to comment within this timeframe.

reply

A good test would be to track today’s and see if there is another anomaly.

reply

This sounds ok. I'll do it again tomorrow at day end.

reply

I don't think you can set the time, so maybe it is a time-zone issue.

reply

We simply don't need to set the time as I calculated right after the day ended at 12:AM CT or 11:30 IST for me.

I only calculated for the posts and comments and zaps that were made only yesterday within the timeframe of 24 hours.

reply

Can @realBitcoinDog check that the formula works as intended with his forked SN?

reply

Might some of the zaps occurred today, rather than yesterday?

reply

No. I calculated it right after the day ended.
I even posted it 9 h ago. #895470

You know I and @realBitcoinDog discuss the analytics daily. It happened that I intuitively guessed that we must have a better day than yesterday as I saw more zaps, comments and posts than the previous day. But when I saw him posting the revenue less than the day before yesterday, I was just surprised and did this calculation.

I'm not entirely sure if my method of calculation is completely correct but the stats are 100% correct.

reply

Interesting, because your method looks right to me.

reply

Not what I got tho

reply

Considering we have the top post and lot more in zaps, I was hoping for more revenue than yesterday's.
We need to calculate it on our own.

I'm gonna do it.

reply

Did we have the top post?!

Omg you’re right it was @denlillaapan!!

Fine w/ me for u to bring it up to the boss!

Cuz it should all be Sats right? No CC’s

reply

No. As far as I know. Sats and CCs make no difference in this regard.
Maybe there's something else.

reply

I recalculated and it's now 2249 sats.
Ok my method is:

Total revenue for ~healthandfitness=

  • Post fee = 69
  • Comment fee = 7
  • Zaps = 21% of total sats zapped

Today's stats:

posts = 6×69=414
comm.= 66×7=462
zaps = 6641%21 = 1373

Total = 2249

*This doesn't include fees and zaps on previous posts or comments. It should be more.

@k00b
Are we missing something?
