Pro tip: reverse osmosis is more practical at getting the equivalent of distilled water. In either case, you might find that drinking either type of water will not make you feel "quenched". This is because of lack of minerals and it might lead to all kinds of health problems. If you are going to drink deionized water, you night consider buying unsweetened cherry juice, just a splash in your glass. This will raise the pH to a level that your pallette finds more satisfying.
RO water is excellent in your coffee maker or tea pot because it will never cause calcium scaling. However, you cannot use it in beer making because the yeasts require the minerals that naturally occur in spring water (or so I hear).
Interesting, let me look it up! I have also read that fruit juice is another form of distilled water, the same as urine, which blew my mind reading how many problems it can solve 👀
Urine is not distilled water. It actually contains tons of stuff that bacteria, yeasts and slime can live on, including lymph fluid which contains B and T-cells from your bone marrow. They say that its sanitary because it has a low pH and no living organisms. Sanitary and sterile is not the same as distilled, but people tend to conflate the concepts.
Urine contains many compounds other than water but because it comes from within your bloodstream where you have an active immune system it will lack yeasts and bacteria. If you put urine in a centrifuge, you will find it contains around 5% solids.
So, if you had a choice between distilled water and urine, I would urge you drink the water.
I woke up expecting to see a volatility storm as a result of FTX rumors. I was all ready setting up cheap btc buy orders. Not much movement yet. We'll see once more people wake up on the East Coast of the US.
I disagree. FTX is the lesser of two evils. During a recent WEF summit a FTX representative stood his ground and defended decentralization and bitcoin values. If BNB could they would shut Bitcoin down. But I could be wrong.
People who take "not your keys, not your coins" to hearth already did withdraw and those who did not withdraw will not learn it ever. I think not much will happen
GM all,
Writing some support for async database providers into BDK this morning. It'll be a temporary bridge until bdk_core is released, but necessary for CyberHornet: Swarm development.
