commenting on my own post here, but anyone know if NWC strings can have more than one relay listed, as like a backup relay ? not sure how i'd configure that in lnbits but seems like it'd make sense for some redundancy in the relay options.
Youd need to go pplns and get lucky with a block or two over expected mining rewards during the duration. I suggest either sbi crypto or Ocean pools. Otherwise instant mining is really just to try out the service before you make a larger buy.
I have done several long term mining contracts using pplns pools and so far have not lost out due to variance. Its a great way to participate in mining and wash some utxos you might want to disrupt the papertrail with.
i know they had plan to make their front-end self-hostable. I hope that still happens, sounded like it'd be something similar to albyhub that you could run on your own hardware.
holy shit...ive always thought this anecdotally (especially as a parent), but to even attempt to put a number on it just, if realistic, is astounding to consider to me
holding tons of btc doesn't mean much, imo. If btc becomes useful in the world at any scale, they would be forced to sell it if they are not productive themselves.
If we were talking about controlling blockspace via hashrate... that's a different story.
