That'll fix it.
I think game theory plays into where we are with the state now. The state in your country has enormous power because if it didn't, they would be taken by a rival state.
I loath the state, but sometimes I feel it is a necessary and inevitable evil. I'm not sure how we can unwind this arms race globally to the point where all states are dissolved, and we are left with smaller sovereign governance models that are resistant to violent conquest.
Perhaps bitcoin can assist with this, but ultimately I feel that in the current paradigm, we need the state to defend us against other (likely worst) states.
I dont think its possible to create an unbiased AI. All AIs are biased because the creators of these models must select the data to be used for training.
Its a question of which bias best suits your needs. You might need a model that is more compliant, or perhaps you want something that is less left leaning. Either way, in order to create this outcome, the creators have to choose which data to include or exclude based on this preference, which is inherently introducing a bias.
Such a load of crap. Clearly advocates of a plant based diet. Millet is not an ancestral food. It's a grain humans have been eating for about 7000 years. They also demonize meat as causing colon cancer despite there never being a RTC published to prove this.
What software do you need that doesn't run on Linux? I abandoned Windows 5 years ago, along with all the software that doesn't run on Linux. There are generally good alternatives to most software now that run natively on Linux.
This is why I rarely mention bitcoin to normies, unless I'm certain they are freethinking types. Most people's understanding of bitcoin comes from news headlines in trashy newspapers, so they have a tendency to think you're a nutter when you start rambling about it.
I feel if you're the sort of person that doesn't question the mainstream narrative, and you still get your information from newspapers and institutions, then you're not ready anyway.
Yes. Its getting much easier. You can easily spin up a back end now without much tech knowledge. You don't even need a GPU (although that speeds things up significantly).
If you're interested, look into Ollama or LM Studio. They provide APIs to interface with the LLMs. Then there are a bunch of clients you can install and point to this endpoint.
Honestly, I just jumped straight in about 5 years ago. Best thing I ever did.
If you want an easy time time, install Linux Mint. If you want to understand Linux, then install Arch from scratch using the Arch Wiki (do it a few times).
I'd recommend spinning up a virtual machine on your Windows host first, and make use of the snapshots feature to roll back any breaking changes make when screwing around.
My advice would be to ditch all of the Windows apps that you've become comfortable with. Some may have native support with Linux, but its a nightmare trying to get them to work if they don't (wine is a pain).
Get comfortable with the command line. I'm an avid Vim user now. After getting through the steep learning curve, its now the only text editor I use. It is also the fastest and most efficient way to type.
When you master the CLI, there's no need for bloated software like Word or LibreOffice, you can convert markdown documents you wrote using Vim to Pdfs using tools like Pandoc.
If you have any questions or need support, then please feel free to reach out, I'm more than happy to give advice or support on your Linux journey !

The "lightning" feature in Muun becomes unusable during periods of high fees. Not so optimal when you have to explain to noobs that the "cheap payments network" built on top of bitcoin doesn't work when fees are high. I stopped recommending Muun several months ago when I encountered this situation.
"Everything in moderation" or "there are no bad foods" are nonsensical terms espoused by the food industry to justify eating their industrial sludge.
Random rare genetic cancers may not be preventable. But if you model your diet based on what humans evolved to eat, you'll be metabolically healthy. If you are metabolically healthy, you remove the risk of a whole plethora of health conditions including cancer.
Also, most nutritional studies are observational and based on weak data. Outcomes are often nothing better than random. We dont take nutritional advice from nutritionists.
I think in this example, food production should be centered around ruminants (I.e. grazing cattle). Trying to live off just plants from a greenhouse wouldn't be enough, and its back breaking work. There's a reason life post-agriculture was miserable for most people.
Nix is deep rabbit hole for sure! I'm currently in the process of replacing my whole home-lab with a multi-host nix config!
