Was checking your Bitcoin journey bro and was wondering, before you became interested in it, and not even gold etc. I assume you were heavy in the stocks? We're you doing any good? I always like to gain insight from the OG stock exchange boys about the ole days, if that's a valid expectation.

I was a “lazy portfolio” “DCA warrior” “Time in the the market beats timing the market” “Buy and Hold” low cost passive index fund investor of small cap large cap international and REIT. I at least was never a 60-40 bond portfolio boomer.

You're welcome homie cheesmo my favorite part is definitely where you wrote a letter to your daughter implying your mistakes and your intentions to make sure she does not make those mistakes. I've never seen an article written in that way and it was heartwarming and heartbreaking (I've been there brother, I was watching Bitcoin back in 2011 do it's thing and loved it but laughed at it).

And what!? People actually invest 40% into bonds? That is just laziness

So I read the guides you posted here and they actually worked! @grayruby knows I saved my first long form post for this morning at 9am EST and sure enough I got HUGE engagement!! Much better than if I published it as soon as I wrote it at 1am EST 🤣

And as you know it’s not necessarily about how to stack the most sats because there’s better ways to earn sats, but if you’re gonna post, you might as well give yourself the best chance for more engagement from fellow stackers! 🫡

I tried to DM u on Nostr. I did use your link to sign up but it said the 1000 sats was all gone! Luckily you guys sent me sats here, but I can’t use them to make my first post in the nostr discussion area! I then tried sending 100 sats thru primal to make the post but idk if it worked. The sats left my primal wallet but my post keeps saying retry payment. I’m doing this all on mobile. I’m hopeful tho. Were SO EARLY for Bitcoin!

Has this been resolved? We only settle the invoice when we received the sats and published your post or comment. When your post says "retry payment", your sats should not have left the wallet or be back in your wallet.

If a payment fails and you retry will it continuously fail? I have been trying to zap something all day and it keeps failing but all my other zaps are working. It's very odd.

Depends on why it failed (but we don't expose the reason yet).

What are you trying to zap? I assume it's because the payment itself fails since we currently only fallback to the custodial wallet if creating the invoice from the user wallet failed.

If you want to use an external wallet to zap you need to set that up in wallet and then attach wallet.

@ek can help you with that.

I am not sure what happened with the invite link. I created them awhile ago and didn’t think they expired but maybe they do. I will have to look into it. I zapped you 1K sats which after the sybil fee (which goes to the daily rewards pool) should be 700 in your SN wallet.

no I was trying to use my SN sats to pay. It just wasn't working for me at all on mobile. When I try to make a post on mobile, or when i was anyways, then it'd present like a lightning invoice so it was weird. Here on the website on desktop though it seems to be working seamlessly drawing sats from my SN balance no problem!
