Stealing money through inflation hits the people further from the source of the newly printed money the hardest, thus get the most value fo money stolen. It is still theft whether they take it in taxes or inflation (only the increase in the supply of money).
I look forward to seeing ACT and SAT test to take more prominence in the choices for entry into a college! It looks like grades will mean little to nothing at every level now. The next step would be entrance exams for jobs, too. What a bunch of idiots!
It is irony but do you think Amtrak will give Musk or any of his companies a big contract in Baltimore and Washington DC? Perhaps NOT! I thought they were the screaming, shrieking donkeys!
If you have ever heard donkeys at night in a mountainous valley, you will know what I am saying.
When I was traveling, I would learn, at least, numbers and please and thank you in the local language or languages. Sometimes people would laugh at me for doing it wrong, but it helped when haggling. People do appreciate a please and thank you in their language, even if done wrong.
Yes, this is the result of raising the time preference of people in this country. There are no savings, therefore no investment. And, no, what the state does is not investment, they only consume. When the give aid to people, it is to spend, without saving and therefore no investments. Now, immigrants are coming for all the freebies from the pockets of the taxpayer, therefore crowding out taxpayer savings. We are now swirling down the toilet because of what you descirbed!
They may all be on future polls, this isn’t the only one coming. There were enough movies to make several polls.
It is sometimes very difficult to get into another jurisdiction from the one you are in. They have made moving around a difficult task.
Does this mean they will not attempt to interfere in the markets for BTC? Hummmm….that doesn’t sound like the state that I am familiar with! They try to interfere in all economic transactions with their political means (the gun) at every turn to get their just rewards. I just wonder how they will try to interfere with BTC.
I don’t care what they call it. It is called tyranny. Those idiots are imposing feudalism on the people, who should not consent to it and fight back. But, then again, they don’t care.

Yes, it does depend upon where in the world you are as a teacher. East and Southeast Asia are good places for teachers.

Yep, but when was that?

I was fairly prestigious a couple of hundred years ago. Then teachers took care of post-primary types of subjects that parents could not teach and the local primary teachers had no expertise in.
I thought it may be more directed at the EU. They really need a wake up call, IMHO. I suppose they could tailor it for any country and use it as an excuse.
I would like to start a small school. I would start by opening for 3-4 year olds and teaching them to read the proper way and promote them grade by grade and taking in new youngsters each year. The objective would be to teach them as nobody is being taught now, in the old style. Teach things like logic, writing and mathematics and then get other teachers to teach those subjects, I cannot teach. I would like to do this to make sure some future adults would be fit to lead and outperform the public miseducation.
