My son asked me if I knew the difference between bees and wasps. Previously, he has asked me about the difference between grasshoppers and praying mantises, so I thought it was just his inquisitive mind at work.
Then, he asked me, โDo you know what ้ฉฌ่ is?โ
โHuh!โ I admitted my ignorance.
Turns out that ้ฉฌ่ = wasps, something that he learnt from his Chinese teacher in school today. Apparently, she was going through a lesson on bugs, including ants, flies, cockroaches, mosquitoes. Whatโs more, she got him to remember the characteristics of insects: six legs, three body parts, two antennas.
I must be channeling good energy into the Universe because my son has met a great teacher.

Today I dreamed that I reported a bug and the devs were replying to me in Spanish and arguing with each other about how to fix it (this much I understood because of all the capital letters and exclamation marks) and I got mad because why the fuck are they replying to my English bug report in Spanish
Hahahaha.....that's how I feel here sometimes, my head is in a bug, I speak Spanish, I live in Brazil, so I have to speak Portuguese, and here it's pure English....hahahahaha
I also dreamed that a girl fell from a table and knocked herself out and my paramedic training kicked in
That was nice to see, that I still know what to do, which basically amounts to making sure she's not dead and calling for help
