I went out for some exercise at the stadium 🏟 with some a friends as it is my routine every Sunday morning. Did some laps, and stretched a bit. Don't forget guys - health is wealth.

Today I was able to solve a 307 error while creating a BOLT11 invoice in LightningX, and I also implemented a BOLT11 decoder to get the payment hash from the invoice. After that, I used the payment hash to check the /payments endpoint to see if the invoice had already been paid. That wraps up my Sunday - goodbye!

Aged Bitcoin is probably more expensive than any other "aged" item like wine or cheese.
I wonder if there's anything that earns more value than Bitcoin over the years.

I am on an extended relocation away from my home and family. When not working I spend my down time watching old, highly technical MIT and Andreas Antonopoulos bitcoin lectures on YouTube. They are way over my head, but once in a while something clicks.

BTC magazine gives a crash course too and you get 2100 sats for it. Not bad at all.

I'm on day 3 now. It's very well done, but I suspect it's very basic. I'm just in it for the sats! It's good for newbies, but I've been around since 2017 and am really trying to understand the under the hood technical stuff. I have run an on chain/ LN node for over a year, and can do all of the stuff to maintain it, and I do some CLI, but I really want to understand the tech on a deeper level.

That's great that you're taking the time to watch the lectures and learn more about Bitcoin. I'm sure you're learning a lot and it's great that you're taking the initiative to learn. I highly recommend reading Andreas Antonopoulos's book "Mastering the Lightning Network" too. It's full of great information and insight, packed with amazing knowledge and can be quite mind-blowing!

Great suggestion. On youtube there is a series of videos which is sort of like a book club, where Mastering the Lightning Network is read out loud, chapter by chapter, and then discussed. It's called Mastering the Lightning Network Reading Group I'm enjoying it, but I'm taking my time, since there's a lot to digest. Again, it's over my head, but I find this type of learning is better for me than plowing through a book.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion! I'm definitely going to check out the Mastering the Lightning Network Reading Group. I love that there is a way to learn this material in a more interactive way. I'm also aware of the Bitcoin Design community - I've heard great things about them! (also referring to their design guide)
Personally, I prefer reading books. I find that I'm able to take more time to process the information and take more notes. But I'm sure that the videos will be an interesting way to learn too!
Best of luck to you on your learning journey!

I'm a voracious reader, but unfortunately tech stuff doesn't come naturally to me.
