Muun isn't a Lightning wallet. Use any other instead.

I use Zeus the most since I can remotely manage my node, and I'm away from home a lot.

Elecctrum, Phoenix, and Wallet of Satoshi, among others.

Is electum on android getting the bugs worked out do you know? Last time tried it, kept crashing
reply
I only started using Electrum on Android recently (I use lots of others), say, last 2 months, and I have not had any glitches or crashes; I'm actually very happy with it as a phone wallet. Worth paying attention to the options for channel opening (in some cases, payments can be a bit slow).

How long ago was that? I wasn't aware of those crashes. Although I have crashes very often with many other apps. I think most of the times is caused by the poor quality of @µð®øıð and not particular apps. I can't wait for PostmarketOS to be fully working for this one phone and getting rid of the last PoS from Gøøgł€ I'm using for ever.

few months back, it kept hanging and crashing when switching between screens and entering in seed phrase from what I recall

It was updated last for me ten days ago, on Jan 26. Perhaps give it another try now?

cool, will do, I'm long time electrum desktop user, so was excited to use their LN mobile app

I use Zeus with my node, before I had my node. I used Zeus with Alby.

Valet -- an SBW fork and full-featured LN/Onchain wallet with fiat custodial channels feature.

Wow, pleasantly surprised to see Phoenix wallet taking the lead. It’s definitely underrated on twitter.
I really like the balance they struck between being a real lightning wallet and noob friendly. The most popular lightning wallets completely abstract away the channel aspect, really cool to learn about the network in an easy way on mobile. Plus is noncustodial! My favorite atm for sure. Next step is setting up a node and using Zeus.

I want to use Phoenix but it's still not available on F-Droid. What gives?

Breeze and Zeus are my gotos.

I used to be a Muun fanboi until I realised their insanely high fees and lack of compatibility with the wider lightning network featureset.
Now I use Phoenix and Blixt.

Good for you. It's never too late to realizing what a shame that thing is and getting an actual LN wallet.

My advice: don't ask what others use. Test yourself ALL OF THEM. Knowledge is power. Following others like lemmings is dumb.
Here I wrote some guides that can give you more information:

Zeus and Blue.

I've been using zbd a lot as of late, though it is really more gamer niche than suits me. I use Blue and WoS on other devices, haven't really settled on just one. I also use muun sometimes to receive larger LN transactions on-chain simply but never to send to LN.
