Hahaha, thatās the dilemma my father always presents us with. Yes, weāll meet good, intelligent, interesting men weāll get along with them and think itās just friendship but if you let your guard down or hint at something more, heās going to take advantage of it.
So, does friendship only survive because of us women?
He could well refuse, assuming the girl only wants something carnal and not sentimental.
Thatās beautiful though, of course, thatās a separate issue: a person's values and the respect they show their partner and family. Iāve heard people claim that absolutely all men are unfaithful, but I donāt agree with that; I believe there are men who have principles and are loyal.
This thought builds on the idea that men have no standards, any woman will suffice. Iām bi and I donāt secretly want to bang every single person I know.
But Iād like to twist this the other way around: why is it such a concern? Having a good friendship is already halfway of a healthy marriage, assuming the rest of the stuff works out for both of them, why not?
Why is it frowned upon for women to go out with a known, āgoodā man rather than diving on the cesspool of dating apps?
idk, but I know for sure that I won't hint that. š
