Which part you do not understand from "closed source" ?
You cannot install WoS WITHOUT a play store. That means is full of trackers from google and apple
When people will wake the fuck up and install only open source software?

An app doesn't need to be open source to have the apk available somewhere. The more unsolvable issue is it being custodial.

Not only that is closed source, but IT IS REQUIRED to have installed google service in order to be able to use that shit app.
In the guide about wallets I specified for which app is required or not. So user will know what to download.
I see people using de-googled Graphene or Calyx and then go to install Aurora to be able to install WoS. LOL
So you go back to google shit services just for downloading a tracking app.
Why do you bother to de-google your phone if go back to the same shit?

Weird thing for US companies to do on a holiday.

Tin foil hat time, they knew the holiday would be a big orange pill opportunity and disappeared one of the biggest onboarding tools

My tin foil hat theory is better. WoS removed itself from the stores on purpose because they are rugpulling.

No one even knows who runs WoS. It's always been a rugpull time bomb. How anyone can be surprised truly blows my mind.

Simplicity from WOS comes at a price. Breez or Phoenix Wallet is just as easy. Ideally, use Blixt.

Was an inevitable rug. Run your own node or get used to this sort of thing. If I were a betting girl, I would say that they removed their app from the app stores on purpose because they are going to shut down and get away with everyone's money. Hook, line, and sinker.

Okay. Here's what I found on the company.
Google Maps
Australian Business Register
Australian Financial Services Register
Google Play Page (it loads for me)
Apple App Store Page (not currently loading for me)
I have the app installed on my phone with about 1000 sats (50 cents). I'll let you know if it gets rugged.
To be fair, the company was registered in 2018 so if it's a rug they're playing the long game. Although one suspicious thing is it looks like they're up for review next week (on 30 Nov 2023) by the Australian Securities & Investments Commission. So if they're in hot water that could be an explanation?

Actualy Bitcoiners, no. People who use a closed-source Bitcoin Wallet from a Big Tech app store are not Bitcoiners. I refuse to call them that.
