I did! Great recommendation. I still don't know how that got by me.

Awesome…. Robert Downey Jr has had his demons but he is amazing as a dude playing a dude playing a dude.
And if you haven’t seen β€˜Chaplin’ you have missed one of his finest performances.
I met one of the other stars from Tropic Thunder last night - quite by chance and courtesy of a friend - a genuinely nice guy.

It's still September and my daughter slept in Santa Claus pajamas last night and we've been watching "Home Alone." Christmas is when you want to
reply
Why not?
reply
My daughter was wearing her Spider-Man Halloween costume for a couple days earlier this month.
reply
Haha that's awesome. Does she watch Spidey and his amazing friends? That's how my daughter got into spiderman.
reply
I have a little brother who is a fan of that cartoon, my daughter not so much.
reply
Not really. It caught us very off-guard when she saw a Spidey costume at Costco and desperately wanted it.
reply
Spidey costumes are pretty cool. My daughter was a teddy bear her first halloween, then baby Yoda for the next couple to match my son dressing as a Jedi. Then she was a purple minion two years ago and a fairy last year. This year she says she wants to be a ghost. Don't know what that is about but I am sure my wife will be happy because the last two years costumes were very labour intensive for my wife.
reply
wow that's really cool, something I'm a little bit jealous of is that in the USA there is a huge variety of costumes for children, for example my daughter wants to wear a pink power ranger costume, but here they don't have them anywhere, I have to order them from Amazon. Here there are only costumes of Disney princesses and classic superheroes, some animal costumes.
reply
We had to order the Spidey costume, too, because our daughter's too small for anything at Costco.
reply
Is she wearing that for Halloween or just for random excursions.
I love it when kids wear costumes at any time of the year, even when shopping at the supermarket. Who says costumes are only for Halloween?
reply
She did wear it to the store, much to the delight of the other shoppers.
reply
Hahaha it's so much fun, people are always surprised and happy when they see the kids happy with their costumes.

Wish me lunch selling popcorn with the Cub Scouts at our local grocery store. We just joined last week.

I feel like I always come here with a problem. @k00b, it seems I didn't get any rewards today for ~politicsandlaw territory, but I did get it for the others. Based on the posting it seems I should have got something.

Can you look again? If one territory got paid - all of them get paid. Territory revenue is executed as a single "atom."
The db shows you got 2438 sats for ~politics_and_law
reply
Yes, about an hour after I posted the message I saw the notice. It's possible I missed it, but I checked a few times originally. I am sure I got the payout originally. I'm not sure I got the notice. Is it possible the notice was missing? Of course I could have made a mistake.
reply

Were the notices for your other territories at the bottom? That's the only reason I can think that some might show and others wouldn't.

Police

Disclaimer
To understand what is going on, we need to consider the different areas of the simple term β€œthe police” and its various connotations.
  1. There is the living breathing man or woman who decided to join a police force. We do not know their reasons for doing so, at an individual level.
  2. There is the corporation, or agency that is politically controlled by people with an ulterior motive and hidden agendas.
  3. Are you referencing a police officer or a constable of the law?
  4. Regardless of a person’s title, they are responsible for their actions; the severity of the punishment depends on intent.
  5. Hard truth to swallow, but the actions of every police officer is unlawful and illegal.

Discovered a new way to learn on the internet, by being wrong!
Yesterday, I shared something funny I saw the other days in Fun Fact Friday, because I had a great laugh with friends while seeing the "bees" stealing our food; And it turned out that those annoying bees were not bees, but wasps ( hmmm I've never heard of this name before, so I did my homework last night, and it did turn out they are called yellow jacket ), and I was around the black sea area, why on earth they got so many yellow jackets flying around and stealing food. πŸ˜‚
reply
Obviously we send them there to steal your food πŸ˜‚ But never heard of WASP?
(Maybe it’s only me being very old 🀣)
reply
never πŸ‘€ and they are REALLY annoying and brave πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
reply
They could be even quite aggressive in this period of time. They have likely lost their sense of life, and have nothing to lose, they mostly want sugars so if there are many of them around you, just give them a glass of very sweet water somewhere further away from you.
reply
They have likely lost their sense of life, and have nothing to lose,
why this happens?
and yes! πŸ˜‚ sacrificed my latte for peaceful time.
reply
why this happens?
The yellowjacket life cycle begins with a fertile queen, who builds a nest and uses stored sperm to create worker bees. These worker bees continue building the colony, and die off at the end of summer. The life cycle continues with newly-created queens hibernating through the winter to start the life cycle again the following spring.
