Alright,
I've deployed the foundation of my nostr running app, and it worked alright on a run. Hopefully this weekend I can work on adding some basic features including nostr login.
I'm over 32,000 words into a short story/fiction book which I'm leaning on calling The Cannibal Bus. Hopefully this weekend I can add 1500 words into the thing.
I'm working on another lo-fi beat tape, this one should be a bit better than the others. I found a photographer/graphic designer on nostr to create album artwork, found a guy on fiverr for mixing/mastering (should use a nostr freak next time). I'll come out with the beats on vinyl and sell it on shopstr.
Wife's pregnancy is going well, she's at home watching a lot of shows and movies, eating healthy foods and reading books. I'm reading a book called "We're Pregnant The First-Time Dad's pregnancy handbook" Its targeted audience seems to be a drunken teenager.....but its alright for now. We're on week 5, so its still early in the journey.
Found an interesting part time job, orientation is on the 11th. I'll keep you guys posted on the details and will probably make a SN post about my experience.......should be an interesting one to say the least.
In another rambling conclusion
Its pretty funny, I replied to a post on SN about jobs I've worked, and a SN freak said "I don't believe you". Explaining my exploits after the Nostr app, Fiction book and vinyl will make me sound, extra delusional. When people ask what I'm up to I have to be careful and say "Nothing much" "Same old Same old" "Hangin in there". I don't feel like I'm doing "Big things" just lots of small projects that pretty much anyone could do......feels good though.

No idea. Not really paying attention to it since I had my debate with k00b. I told him I would back off the complaining about the trustrank algo and what gets valued on SN after I was an ass about it. Once and awhile you need to be an ass to bring attention to a point that doesn't seems to be being heard but I also know they are swamped with wallet stuff right now so me being an ass about something else wasn't helpful.

Something clearly changed in the SN ecosystem. I was basically 2nd or 3rd consistently for several months and now I haven't cracked the top 5 in a while and occasionally struggle to get into the top ten.
I choose to blame @realBitcoinDog, since he's the biggest change I've noticed here.

The house I grew up in had an old 1950s cold war style bomb shelter. It had an electric generator, a bathroom, and a stockpile of canned food and water containers. We loved playing in it. It was a real neighborhood curiosity.

I believe it was diesel. Either that or gas. We never turned it on. It was vented out below ground and into the yard. My parents never used it and thought the shelter was a joke. My dad told me if the USSR launched a nuke at us that stupid shelter wouldn't save us.

Wow... I will need a lot of capital to build/buy one, in 1950 you could buy those things. It's a topic I like, mostly how to disconnect from the outside environment, the airflow :S ... fail-safes and redundancy in almost every life support system.
