Vlad did amazing working on the nostr market extension and nip15. The goal was to build something that showed what could be done with nostr markets and act as a reference implementation of sorts. It's awesome to see plebian.market and shopstr using nostr marketsand the LNbits nostr market client is compatible with these. It's early and we're looking forward to seeing nostr markets becoming more popular as nostr adoption goes up.

I have a todo to actually do this. We now have a nostr wallet connect extension that will allow you to fund any NWC compatible app from your home LNbits instance. Watch this space.

Cashu is very cool. We'd love to have cashu back in LNbits. The old extension was too heavy, a lighter weight version of the cashu extension would be more than welcome. If someone can build and PR one, we'll definitely review and include.

We will be adding phoenixd, boltz and Breez to the saas funding sources, with a ui to manage, and the saas could use as turnkey solution. Although the saas is a product we need some more resources on to make great, and one of the reasons LNbits Inc is raising a seed

Use your Tor nodes as funding source for a LNbits installed on another local machine. Can be on the same network (easiest) or a VPS with a tailscale tunnel.

Resources, time and money, we are all spread thin, but the sprint to v1, has improved a lot, making lnbits and extensions waaaayyy easier to maintain

We have Spotify jukebox, which we updated for v1, but we will add the ability to use a folder of music rather than Spotify in the future.

With v1 updates to extensions and how they work I can see us rolling out a wizard, and I imagine AI will be part of that. I want to be able to have an idea for an extension, give a prompt and have the wizard/AI do most heavy lifting. Great ideas are abundant, time to create them all is scarce.

From Tal: It'll happen, I think AI will use Bitcoin on LN, ecash or whatever other format to accomplish tasks, using other AI resources or API's. AI agents that are independent of one another need to be able to work together and exchange money for this, Bitcoin is the perfect way to fund this.

Exactly this. This is exactly what I'm doing and it works really well.

LNbits is much more than LNURL. We're going to implement bolt12 when it's ready and integrate into all the extensions where it makes sense to do so.

There are docker files for lnbits so it should be pretty straight forward. You'll need to configure whatever http proxy you have to work with your docker instance but shouldn't be hard to do.

Lots of projects see all the great things LNbits do and lean closer to us, but whatever, when bitcoin becomes widely adopted there is plenty of room for everyone 🤗 We just focus on building great things, and other projects can replicate what they like.
