I agree with @grayruby, this is a hassle/annoying.
Just change to 120k.
Or
Perhaps territory ownership could come with higher limit.
Odd that they want to reduce their profit margins and offer their customers shittier service.
Everybody has a marketing budget, I suppose.
Their choice.
I don't think that applies here.
That quote speaks to inevitable corruption of the hero or the confusion of a mob.
Whats happening here, is that the maker of a gun, is arrested for alleged murder with said gun.
I haven't logged in, in a while.
Are you still setting prices of options with your own model, clearing, and laying off risk to make this market on deribit?
Its brutal, but that is the capital gains inclusion rate, not the tax rate.
So you multiply the gain, by that number, then multiply it by the tax rate. Also, they added complexity by doing this for only gains higher than $250k. And, they implemented the rule, for a fraction of a tax year.
Classic fucking government stupidity, not giving a fuck about the tax base or the impact on their own planning.
Dont get me wrong, is stupid af. But not 66% stupid.
The strawberries are NOT better.
They are disgusting genetic mutilations.
They are the size of plums now, have wierd textures, woody taste...but look fabulous on the shelf of stores.
This one gives me chills, of course it's just a creative cover. If it wasn't about a completely real event, I suppose it would be cringe.
Does somebody have a technical tl;dr of the likely implications on the mempool, blockspace demand, and the utxo set, for runes?
I agree, every time I get a chance, I point out that borders are invisible and imaginary lines on dirt made up by mostly old dead white men.
It usually makes people pause.
Like timezones.
But - there is so much fucking ink spilled about them.
Super hard not to bend the knee to them, unless you are mega rich.
if they’re powered off or the battery is dead.
Surely it's the last place it phoned-home before the battery died.
A phone can't die, move, then phone-home. At least not independently. That would be a breakthrough in physics.
Perhaps, you need some other device (or even the smart-charger), nearby and plugged in, that some how pings an antenna on the phone.
Like, imagine the phone is dead in the middle of the Saraha dessert, no other devices around. That's very different than if it's surrounded by a bunch of other surveillance tech that could "detect" the pixel-8, and rat on it's location.
I would count both of those examples as entitlements.
They can be low, currently, and still unbounded given enough elections.
History suggests that all democracies tend towards going the way of Greece - the place where democracy was first created. Japan. US. Germany. Australia. Canada. Its all the same lifecycle. Politicians buy votes, with money that doesn't exist. Switzerland might just be earlier along on that transition. Or, maybe they found the cure in other policies.
Scarcity makes everything more valuable.
Or does it?
Seems like an extreme.
The same way 2% inflation is an arbitrary centrally planned made up number, so is 0% population growth.
What are they gonna do if at 10M, medicine improves, and lifespan increases? Cut back on life-saving surgeries? Pay people to leave?
Need to increase the civil service jobs at same rate as immigration, else, this is the result. Next up, lower rates.
