Well, this morning, I, for one, elected to brew, instead of the Costco house brand coffee, the imported Mexican blend, which I normally reserve for my weekend morning reading.
Otherwise I remain humble.
Hi.
In my opinion, a good question matters more. A clear, carefully crafted, and well thought out question will harvest higher quality and meaningful information, especially when tactfully delivered. You want more detailed information to best prepare your next move.
Ask better questions if you want better answers.
Who asked you this and why, out of pure curiosity?
The stabbing itself did not. I did not even know I was stabbed until I was pushed on the floor, knife in my face, and being told "you've already been stabbed".
The recovery, on the other hand was a different story.
The nurse told me that I woke up the second floor of the hospital when I screamed in agony as they pulled out my first chest tube. Other one came out like butter.
Any movement for the next month, at least, while recovering resulted in excruciating pain.
Taking some time off from economic/monetary policy and murder stuff to read Orthodoxy by GK Chesterton.

I want to give you a taste of how tangled this web is and who you may (not) think is participating.
Let's take the Best Friends Animal Society - https://bestfriends.org/
Seems like a good cause, right? Keep reading...
Looking at Wikipedia, we can see that they were formerly called - Best Friends Animal Sanctuary; Foundation Faith of the Millennium; and Process Church of the Final Judgement.
Let's examine the Process Church as described in the book:
"In the early 1960s, two ranking members of the Church of Scientology—Robert Moore and Mary Anne MacLean, better known as the DeGrimstons—split off from London’s Hubbard Institute to form the Process Church of the Final Judgment *** —a group whose official logo is a modified swastika and whose literature included glowing tributes to Nazism, Satan, gore and necrophilia"
*** "A February 2004 report from Denver’s Rocky Mountain News revealed that the Process Church is alive and well today after a series of name changes (Lou Kilzer “Friends Find Their Calling,” February 28, 2004)."
STILL ALIVE AND WELL!?
"From its inception, the Process made no effort to hide its infatuation with death, destruction and cultural terrorism. .... Another essay that appeared in the official Process publication urged readers to experience the pleasures of grave robbing and
necrophilia."
"The group, which still includes many original members, is now known to rub shoulders with various Hollywood celebrities."
"Author Michael Newton has written: “If law-enforcement spokesmen are correct, the cult is also deeply involved in white slavery, child pornography, and the international narcotics trade.”"
Absolutely insane, and I'm not saying this book should be taken as the gospel, but when you start to do your own fact-checking, and take into consideration some of the absurd sentencing some criminals receive now-a-days, it becomes more and more plausible that this world is a lot more fucked than you might imagine.
Programmed To Kill by David McGowan.
This was on my Kobo forever and I'm not sure what motivated me to download it but if you want a glimpse into mind control, pedophile rings, corrupt government, Satanic ritual abuse, mass murder, and how they are tied together, this book is for you.
Makes you wonder to make of the underground Jew tunnels, innumerable high profile gov't officials/celebs/etc labeled as pedos, etc etc
Good morning. Not as much as yourself or a couple others here but my pimp mobile is hoovering around the 262,000 KM mark.
I'm just saying, it cannot be a coincidence that roughly 3-4 months post full carnivore, my life-long bout with asthma began to disappear. After a good 6+ months it was gone completely. I used to use ventolin and symbicort to manage the asthma, but have not touched them in over a year.
Magic.
Good morning. I dunno if I would call it a book per se but I read The Call Of Cthulhu by HP Lovecraft this morning. It was a nice break from the monetary and economic literature that have dominated the content lately. There was a certain allure about it coming from a late 1920's horror and fantasy pulp fiction magazine, as well.
Another short and enlightening book that was recently recommended is A History Of Central Banking And The Enslavement Of Mankind by Stephen Goodson. Good luck learning this in school! Highly recommended and you can get through it in one or two sittings.
Old Dell Vostro running Linux, Bitcoin Core 25, and Sparrow. I considered a device such as Umbrel, but I wanted to learn to set it up myself. There were a few head aches, of course, but the experience was worth it; especially if you are trying to teach yourself Linux etc etc.
I don't necessarily fast on purpose, but rather because it's a side effect of my routine. I'll eat enough steak and eggs for breakfast to satiate me for the day, mostly because I dislike the food prep, cooking, and cleanup that comes with eating.
If I do develop an appetite later on, I'll try to not eat anything too late, and will usually have a glass or two of water instead, because it seems to disturb my sleep. Bowel movements are like clockwork, too.
If I do make a poor dietary decision and feel like I need to abstain from consumption the next day, then that's what I do, and it is not difficult at all. I believe that the steak and egg routine eliminated the craving for sugar, making fasting easier, and also find that my mental clarity is higher than normal. My longest period of fasting was two days and I felt more clear-minded and sharper than before, making the fasting case more provocative than ever. Hell, eating nothing but steak and eggs helped dramatically with improving mental clarity in general.
Part of the reason I am enjoying this book is because everyone has a brief introductory sentence or two allied with a description of their job. This allows you to paint somewhat of a multi-dimensional mental image of this person. Now imagine inviting him or her to sit back, take a load off, and tell you about themselves. Fully candid and uncensored. And then imagine yourself listening to this imaginary character you just created, in whatever setting your mind conjures up, as her or she talks your ear off. You'll be able to envision their body language, tone, and voice and all in the theatre of your mind. That's sort of how the book reads.
I just finished one that I think would resonate with a lot of bitcoiners. It is about Fred Ringley, a copywriter and salesman; his wife, and 5 kids.
He says: "I realize there are only two ways to do things: work for somebody else or be an owner. There are two classes of people, the haves and the have-nots. The haves own."
Fred had it all. The family, a house in the suburbs, the country club membership, two cars, etc, and living what he thought was the American Dream. But the high taxes and ever increasing stress made he and his wife more nervous which lead to them drinking and smoking more. So they sat down one day and essentially said fuck that shit, sold everything, moved to Arkansas, bought a farm with cattle and other animals, opened a burger joint, busted their fucking asses putting in WORK, and gave themselves a life out on the ranch where they also created the one of the worlds largest man-made lakes to go fishing, picnicking, climb a mountain, or whatever else your heart desires.
He went from long, shitty days at work; fighting with his wife about bills, and barely seeing his children to opening his own business, being in the best health of his life, and spending all of his time with his family. On a humongous ranch where he sells beef.
Definitely a Bitcoiner.
Good morning.
I am reading one by Studs Terkel called Working: People Talk About What They Do All Day and How They Feel About What They Do.
