I don't see any technical problem with implementing this. For instance bitcoin payroll companies can do this already even as a proof of concept.
The only problem would be inbound liquidity so every once in a while, receive would go from LN -> onchain to cold storage for long-term savings.
what was the biggest reason you decided to switch from LND to CLN?
I can think of many but what was it for Breez?
btw huge fan of everything you do for Lightning!
if you want to do recurring payments with Lightning you can re-ignite the allowance spec discussion under lnurl-rfc which would allow regular payments from wallets to services like this.
otherwise awesome!
I've been contacted by multiple people that are looking forward for Taro being live so they can port assets back to Bitcoin/Lightning.
Can't share anything concrete but I can definitely say there's demand.
what do you mean by roms sites?
I'm thinking about building one for all types of digital files but what would you specifically pay for?
you missed the best one :)

I think for alby this will be easier because it already keeps a list of sites that user allowed connection to.
so as part of this, this balanceCheck can be done.
big fan of what you're doing with thndr.
what other apps can we build as (LN) app developers? What do you wish existed other than games that would introduce billions to bitcoin?
I don't see any risks, if anything it makes sense that exchanges manage most of the liquidity because they're probably either source/destination of large txns.
I've never understood how/why hobby node operators would earn fees routing payments. At least not yet anyway.
I've built this years ago: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pseudozach.lightspot as a proof of concept.
It allows you to sell your phone data connection, it can easily be adapted to public wifi instances or even a dedicated 5G terminal that has an onboarding via LN.
ps: mining part makes no sense
I had built getanswer.app a few years ago - same concept - no traction. Could be more successful as part of SN and maybe more of a direct Q&A version.
