This is mostly to hold myself accountable but I really need to go back to working on the trust algo.
An alternative is to weight upvotes not only by trust but how many sats are sent ... a lot of the low quality upvotes are 1 sat upvotes.

One hack is to upvote posts ranked below any post you wish to see torpedoed.
It may take a handful of people with decent trust in the WoT to obtain the desired results, but currently, there's few who upvote and thus manipulating a post's rank is easy.

Just spun $100 in BTC back on my fold care making an estimated federal tax payment. Fold recently neutered their spin odds so this was a pleasant surprise.
As a side note, just recently discovered you can use the new billpay feature on paypal to double dip on certain credit card rewards by paying off your credit cards using fold (or other debit card). Only works for certain cards, but got it to work for citi double cash and was told also works for AE. So getting 2% on citi plus extra 1-2+% from Fold in BTC. It's a nice little hack to give yourself a 1+% spending power boost in these inflating times.

I wanted to follow up on this. I just had CitiCard pull from my Fold Acct and Routing number but was unable to get sata-back since it wasn't a card swipe (Fold makes money on interchange).
You are using PayPal Bill pay, hooked up to your debit Fold Card? How are you getting CitiCard to pull from PayPal's BillPay system?

Don't use the fold account and routing number like a checking account, instead Paypal should be charging fold via debit card access.

awesome! this is my first month doing this. it takes a few days for the transaction to clear and you can only submit payments during business hours which is strange.
Unfortunately they neutered the spin wheel- before I would collect 25+ spins before a big spend making it more likely than not you could hit 3-4%. Now my goal is pay off big spend every ~Friday AM to use 4 spins from Thurs, 3 spin Friday bonus and 4 spins from Friday.
Then for the next week I spend my daily 4 spin drop on something cheap like a mcdonald's $1 coffee go for broke trying to hit 2x max spend (5k sat max).

that sounds like a lot of work for small arbitrage but i've pretty consistently been able to get ~5+2% back on amazon cards using fold which is pretty good since I use amazon quite frequently.

Prices on giftcards need to come down. I was looking at one with about $20 worth and it cost 98k sats. Thats not right when a beer only costs 420 sats.
