2024 wasn't an easy year for me personally, but who said life should be easy? Among other things, it was the 1st full year of doing 100+ pushups every day :) Dec 31st haul:
Day 444 of 100+ pushups per day; day 343 of 120+ pushups per day, sets breakdown:
4x36 normal/narrow, 22 pike; Total: 166
Less than 2 1/2 hours to midnight. I'm tired, and the odds of me being awake for midnight seems very low. I think I'll skip the booze and party hats.

Those a great set of bodyweight exercises to workout your whole body, and you can do them from anywhere without equipment (doesn't have to a pullup bar, a tree branch works also). Good work!

Has anyone here seen the Mufasa movie? Is it any good? I want to know if it's worth taking my daughter to the cinema. I saw some trailers and it seems that they give Scar a background so that we can empathize with him, just like they did with Maleficent, Cruella and Captain Hook.
It was a good movie for a kid. Great storyline, and plenty of funny parts where the animals are falling over and being silly. Not too scary

Is anyone planning to see "A Complete Unknown", the Bob Dylan biopic? I'm going later today and I'm looking for opinions. I have been a Dylan fan for more decades than I'm willing to admit. I sure as hell hope it doesn't suck.
I may just stream that one at home, but I'm looking forward to it. I always enjoyed the lyrics, may be interesting to see his personal journey, if that's what it is about.

Happiness Journal 31/12/24
Today is Japanese New Year, so I should be hard at work cleaning the house. But I went out to have lunch and coffee with my secondary school friend. This is the first time I met up with him this year! I initially planned to stay just for two hours, but because we had lots to catch up on, I spent 3.5 hours with him. It was a great chat that rejuvenated my soul. Best of all, my wife didn’t look disapproving when I returned home with a sheepish look on my face haha! 😛
