@plebpoet, if it makes you feel any better: I locked myself out of my apartment a few weeks ago and had to pay €300 just for someone to wiggle the door open. lol
I locked myself out of my car nearly once a week one summer until I put a spare key in the wheel well.
How did you usually get back in?
I had AAA (roadside assistance insurance), so it was free the first few times. Then it was like $50 a pop.
