Edit: Fck... thats from the fake darth lol... gona give my sats also to the original post.
Yes I have also noticed it because I do regular oncain transactions so I check the fees almost everyday.
I remember a few months ago, the explanation was that it's probably ordinals but september's high volume of uncofirmed transactions looked suspicious to me.
I see that rarely anyone discuss the fees but it's something that bothers me a lot and often postpone transactions waiting for more "healthy" fees.
I hope we will not see a new batch with hundrends of thousand of transactions soon.
Who could be in benefit of such scenario except miners?
That's a great question I am also struggling to find local ppl in my country and especially in my city with interest in bitcoin.
My plan is to first create a website with my country TLD (I have already bought the name bitcoiner.tld). The content will be in the local language (not english) with a few simple guides and tools especially for beginners.
Also I have created a telegram group that I will link to the website so people can find and join the group for chating in local language also.
If there is some interest next thing will be to organise some meetups in my city and if things go well maybe create meetups in more cities.
I believe the website and group will be ready in the next 1-2 months maximum.
Before trying to organise a meetup I plan to contact web owners of networking websites like twentyone.world to list my community.
If you know any good networking coordination websites that accept listing of global groups I am intrested in suggestions.
Also I am thinking to create a nostr profile of my website and of course I will post it here when it's ready. Maybe from a new account name :P just for the heads-up.
Nice tips and hacks here, I also use proton and mullvad in different occasions (personal and work).
Another thing that VPNs are very usefull in my opinion are the protection from ISPs and Govs spying and meta data collection.
Of course it will be wise to use VPNs with private browsing and only login at services (mail / social etc) and latter log-off when the job is done. Having cookies from logged accounts while surfing the web is not reccomended for privacy.
Yeah quite funny for a privacy oriented website to block VPNs

It's not clear enough in the example, but the calculations are for the case you have the seed words scrabled not for unkown seed words.
Congrats :)
I have a childhood friend that we started hanging out again the recent years, I occasionally bring the conversation to bitcoin and try to educate him about the importance of such a tool.
First few times I was very excited to explain what it is and how it works, but it didn't seem to get his attention, in the sense to start asking questions.
Latter I told him that I was studing how the financial system (money) works and there I understood that he had no idea about the reality... I mean he had a completely false perspective which he tried to support but soon realised there was flaws in his opinion, but I never pushed him to much :)
Fast forward.. a few month ago he was visiting me to have a cup of coffee and hang out, and in my big screen I had the mempool space website open because I was checking the fees before a transaction. He asked me a few questions about the stats that the website visualise and I was more than happy to explain. That day I knew all our previous conversations had set the fundamentals and he now knows the basics.
Next step is to make him a wallet and send him some btc, which I postpone because he has a very old phone that I am afraid to trust it in the sense of security. Also I try to educate him how to be more privacy oriented.
I found a few interesting documentaries at the plot11 youtube channel.
He is an amazing educator, his youtube channel is one the best resources to learn about bitcoin. I can't get enough of his speeches.
I don't expect to get an answer from other people here, the question was kind of rhetorical, my intension is to think about the majority of our fellow human beings.
If someone does not have the technical knowledge to re-install another OS on their phone which company or OS do you believe respects user data the most?
Google / Android or Apple / iOS
Lets keep this simple, if you don't have another choise and must trust one over the other which one would be?
Here's a nice and easy educational video about Erdo and how his politcal decisions for the country lead to this situation.

Not saying others are good and will work for the citizens but he is a complete moron.
Give Erdogan 4 more years of power in the comming elections and he will fix everything. /s
At least Bukele has a vision and is a young man not a dinosaur like Erdo.
