amazing - will dig into the code.
bip21 covers both bitcoin and lightning in 1 QR code but not all wallets support it yet.
your best bet is have a lightning address + lnurl printed for LN.
Use something simple like satspay plugin on lnbits or worst case a static bitcoin address.
do you imagine it as a full-fledged nostr client with global feed? Or maybe just a few group chat rooms?
Not sure if you've noticed but nostr clients are super busy, opening connections to bunch of relays and maintaining local db etc so it's not lightweight and could be a slow experience.
1- nip7 support should be pretty straight forward to add and then apps will get window.nostr support.
2- basically replicate https://github.com/fiatjaf/nocomment functionality.
3- trickier and possibly messier. I vote it's not a good idea unless there's some benefit of having it inside breez. it would be like adding a shoutbox.
Blixt should most definitely be funded. Lightning Labs could lead the effort as blixt is doing what they've tried and failed to do: A mobile LND implementation.
my problem with apollo is that they don't add several year-old projects that have been working in production. they seem very keen on gate-keeping.
it's physically impossible to write this much and mention so many things about nostr without mentioning https://nostr.directory but you have done it!
it's right there in jack's tweet that you've quoted and it's the most used micro-app that's solving what you mentioned that you need "A) identity" with a web of trust.
meanwhile I continue to physically repulse VCs which I still maintain is a slightly annoying superpower. must be something I ate about 10 years ago. lol.
but the box looks so fancy, is it home made? or did they just replace the existing switch with one of these awesome bitcoinswitches?
brilliant!
I would definitely do this if I wasn't away from my cat :)
can you share more about your setup? is it just a regular cat feeder with an API? or did you hack one together yourself?
I had built this 5 years ago: https://www.hackster.io/pseudozach/alexa-feed-toto-4e1468
this is very cool indeed. there can surely be many other uses for this besides trustless mixing for privacy.
that's fine. lntxbot could easily publish their sats4ads to a relay and pay out to nostr users lightningaddresses.
but I guess they won't get read receipts. not until we have a NIP for that.
@fiatjaf
please please put your android apps to play store alpha/beta/whatever program so I don't have to chase down and upgrade .apk files manually.
It's a lot easier to deal with compared to testflight so I have no idea why devs avoid it.
this.
I would stop using a relay that inserts ads without consent.
However I could see clients doing revenue sharing with the user and serving high quality ads like carbonads or something.
I can already say this is pretty useful. even just managing your alby funds in an automated way is plenty of useful functionality.
use this library: https://github.com/bitcoinjs/bitcoinjs-lib there are samples there for exactly what you want to do.
when in doubt you can also ask https://chat.openai.com/chat for help (sign up with https://sms4sats.com if you dont want to share your phone number)
