I think they will regret not putting Van der Merwe and Ackermann in their squad though. Both are quality experienced players…

No one was as surprised as they were at their World Cup performance :D
reply
I am still confused as to how it all works but I am doing my best to get into cricket. I think @Coinsreporter wants to do a pool for the world cup. Maybe you would like to join.
reply
Thanks for mentioning! Yes, I want to do a pool for it. Anyone can join. But , still I'm not sure what type of pool should it be?
reply
That's up to you. It's your pool.
reply
I'm just making a post to set a few. If you have any suggestions please tell me.
reply
I think you should use a tiered points system similar to what we did with the MLB playoffs. Participants select the teams to move on through each round but points for correct answers increase with each round.
reply
Thank you so much for the suggestion. I just want to make it little simpler. So, I have adopted a little different. You will soon find out.
Cc me please
reply
Looks like we will have at least 5 competitors. I am assuming @Undisciplined will join.
Let me looks at the rules for how the tournament works and see if I can come up with some ideas for you to consider.
reply
I certainly hope to. It’s an interesting mix of teams in the tournament….

Hey @k00b quick question.
How does donation to rewards work in regards to being reflected in spent category on the rankings. I donated to rewards yesterday and it seemed to change my spent immediately and today I donated to rewards and spent stayed the same. Does it only change above a certain donation threshold?
reply
81 sats \ 5 replies \ @k00b 16 May
It should change immediately always unless it's so small it isn't represented in the rounded value.
reply
200 sats. I just did it again for another 200 and it didn't change.
reply
Looks like a bit of a delay seems to have changed now after I wrote that reply.
reply
On the rewards chart, updates appear almost instantly, but for your spend, you need to refresh the page. I've also noticed that sometimes ranking positions update, but other times they don't. And it's not because there haven't been any changes.
reply
111 sats \ 1 reply \ @k00b 16 May
Ah yes, the page could need to be reloaded when a donation is made to see it update your spending.
The leaderboard positions are recomputed every hour, but your spending total should be up to date on a refresh.
reply
Gotcha. That makes sense now.

Naming the Child

Parents are tricked into thinking they give the baby its name, when in fact it is the hospital, through the signature of the “certifying official” that issues a “surname” to the child.
Note: Surname means “slave name” and is corporate; meaning it is a “legal fiction” under the control of the Vatican and is why you need a “marriage licence” or need to ask permission to conduct a marriage or “corporate merger”.
So, a surname, under the control of the Vatican is added to the birth certificate form, this is referred to as “printing the name into form”; meaning the “surname” is written on the hospital’s form.
This entrapment is done using the four corner rule, block capitals, italic fonts, symbolism and words within margins.
Hieroglyphic or symbolic language is used to further hide the truth.
For example: Crosses are placed in and around such forms, sometimes in areas where signatures are required, however the cross means “dead” and can also mean “pre-signed” by someone else; ref. mortgage contracts.
Note: In most cases within corporate countries, the “birth certificate” and “death certificates” have the same number. This number is referring to the original bond and/or trust, which has now gone unclaimed after death.
If the trust goes unclaimed upon death then it is claimed by the banking system and is used to either cancel debt created by the credit of the trust, or is used to generate more revenue on the outstanding debt in the way of further interest payments.
You have until your 21st birthday to claim this trust; this is why you are given a “key”, which is to open your trust.
Note: Dog tags worn by soldiers were created to streamline this process of closing these trusts after death, so the banks could collect more quickly.
Summary: However, as most of the world know nothing of this, the illiterate parents just fill in the blocks on the form without knowing what they are doing, and the cycle of creating more disposable “human resources” continues.
reply
Surname means “slave name” and is corporate; meaning it is a “legal fiction.
My country has the worst approach regarding this. So many people think their surname as a symbol of superiority and many take it foe shame. But, none of them ever understood that it's 'slavery bound'.
I'm from India and 'Casteism' is deep rooted here. Much thanks again. Now whenever I find someone who upholds any views regarding surnames, I have your comment to make him silent.

music to my ears :)
since the state is violating (wo)men's right to travel, do it with a passport (there's other advanced ways that I know of but didn't try) We can have a passport without being citizens
reply
I know one solution is having multiple passports so that you use them instead of being used, and getting residencies in the places you like, but at the end of the days you are still playing their game.

yes, you could say like that because you signed the contract!
but that's what I found so far - finding the sweet spot so that no one would annoy you and it buys you more time to keep learning and improve your setup.

Tomorrow at 5:00pm Simon, owner of the deli, is sponsoring a bitcoin meetup. If any stackers are in the area, you should definitely stop by:
I'm planning on hosting a meetup at the deli next Friday the 17th at 5pm. Sandwiches, beer and possibly steaks on me. Feel free to join. Just give me a heads up if you want steak. Got a couple bitcoiner buddies coming already, should be a good time.

Day 5 of my daily posting journey, after mischievous prairie dog stole my hat for the 21st time. previously: #540048 🤠⚡

Out of curiosity I went to a shop's physical store that I somehow found online, and you got the feeling it's quite "popular", maybe due to the likes or follows ( which can be bought ofc ), then when I finally got there, it's so quiet and NOBODY is even there, product wise okay, but I think they are over market.
The takeaway is don't believe whatever you see online, ideally always verify things yourself; I'm more font of those places or people downplay themselves online, less expectations = more surprises.
