I've been waiting for a Lightning betting market but is this one legit? Has anyone used it? Minimum bet seems to be 100 votes which is always around 70k sats, which is a lot.

I think you confused the decimal point with the thousand separator because of EU vs US format. 71.300 sats means 71 sats and 300 millisats, not 71,300 sats.

In September spring was supposed to start, there have been sunny days and we trusted that, we went to the beach to celebrate my husband's birthday and we were surprised by a totally cloudy day 😂. Obviously I was checking a weather app during the day and it clearly said that there would be sun, but no. How do I create my own Stacker Sports mint?
I was thinking that might be a good option to host pool pots.
You can use LNbits I tried to create my own mint using it and I ran into all kinds of errors but that’s because my lnbits is behind tor which makes it really tough

I'm picking up some trash today. Cleaning up the neighborhood.
this is a noble endeavor. when i find a piece of trash in a place i frequent, such as a neighborhood park, i do not stop at a single piece.
when in public at a less-often-frequented place, i only pick up trash that is easy to pick up (such as a finished bottle standing on a ledge).
i believe that it helps to make these actions public! it feels good and awakens people to the trash problem.
the other day some teenage boy spat his gum out on the pavement of a parking lot, so i asked "do you spit onto your driveway also?" obviously i have no authority over him, but asking questions is not forbidden, just like asking for time or location.
