Just curious, but why do you use Vegita. Don’t think he would ever been one to say that.
reply
I don't know anything about the character TBF. It was just the meme: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/It%27s_Over_9000!
reply
Vegita is one of the central characters of Dragon Ball and Dragon Ball Z. He starts as a baddie and is changed over several seasons to a good guy.

Not sure if this is related to my warning about SN "self-custody". Seems to be more related with your phoenixd node. idk how well is supporting phoenixd hold invoices.

Not sure if this is related to my warning about SN "self-custody".
Yes it is since if I understood you correctly, you argue that "self-custody" (like running a phoenixd node) is too hard for stackers (or even the lightning network itself?) and they should just use cowboy credits like you.
idk how well is supporting phoenixd hold invoices.
Hold invoices don't need to be "supported", they work by simply delaying releasing the preimage. Don't you know this? Or you mean how much ACINQ supports likes locked up liquidity?
reply
I use CCs for my own reasons. Nothing related with lack of knowledge about LN of many stackers here. That is another story.
Even the easiness of running a phoenixd node is way too much for many SN users that don't even have a WoS. Many don't even have a proper PC at home and you want them to run a node. hahahaha
You really super-estimate the SN users.
reply
ofc I know how hold invoices are working. I was playing with a phoenixd node too (not phoenix wallet), using robosats hold invoices. And the failure rate was way more higher than with other LND/CLN nodes.
So then I tried to avoid using phoenixd / phoenix wallet with hold invoices. I think is related with the CLTV, maybe you could try a larger CLTV.
reply
0 sats \ 0 replies \ @ek 13 Nov
Ah, that's what you mean, makes sense.
I had the same experience on robosats with phoenix wallet and I think both use the same code.
I think in this case here, it's just my server being slow.

time is an astrological psyop. u may as well ask for more money, which is another religious psyop.
time x money = self-worth? naaah. never again.
continue doing the good work, and help people stack. knowing 100 stackers with a decent stack each does much more good than having a 100-stack equivalent, because the 100 stackers will educate many more stackers, resulting in better decentralization of stacks.
u also don't want to be regarded as or feel like the bank for everyone who wants some sats.

Why people are cheering up for a surge in fiat price but not when a new merchant is accepting it?
EVERY FUCKING MERCHANT THAT START ACCEPTING YOUR SATS MUST BE CELEBRATED ! Without those merchants accepting it, your BTC are totally useless.
Only fiat maxis are celebrating BTC / fiat price.
reply
Yeah, but there are a lot of fiat maxis out there celebrating. I don’t think they quite understand just what is going on around them.
reply
Some people here would explain to you that the higher fiat price implies Bitcoin adoption. Don’t ask me why and how.

What was the reason you initially got into bitcoin? And what is the most common reason?
reply
My friends talking about it. It was 2015 or so, but before I went fully into bitcoin, I was somewhat involved in another cryptocurrency, Blackcoin, first PoS, it was exciting. As a fun fact, I still stake that coin, people in the project changed, it’s worthless now, but I don’t remember I have sold it for fiat once.

No matter how many guides I will write and present more easy solutions, they will not want to read them and are attracted by shit solutions or even total shitcoining.
Sometimes I don't even know why am I still doing it. is totally useless, people only want to get rich in fiat, they do not want to be free.

Question Three Times

When you are now in the position to ask a hard hitting question against them, they may try and evade the question or ignore it entirely.
Do NOT allow this; you have asked a question, now demand an answer.
At this point you halt the conversation and ask the question again, and this time clearly state that this is the second time you have asked this question.
Give them a forewarning that they only have one more chance to answer as a failed response to the question for a third time will result in default for them, and you will now be well within your rights to answer for them.
Note: Asking a question three times is a maxim of law; it dates back thousands of years.
There is a very real lawful and legal reason why you ask a question three times.
This can be used in a court of law. The defendant cannot make the claim they did not know about the question, if it was asked three times, and it is on the record.
For the same reason this is why an auctioneer will say going once, going twice, three times, gone. The auctioneer has given you three warnings to answer. The hammer goes down, the contract is concluded.

Asking the locals about a good place to eat works really well, too. They also know the most interesting places to go that are not really in any guide or online. Just local stuff. If you can find an English speaker they are usually more than willing to practice their English on you.

I once took a longish journey in India on the local busses. That was very interesting. One time, the bus stopped in a small town by the local well. I had to get off to change busses, waiting about 2 hours. While i was waiting a large crowd gathered around me, staring intently into my eyes, I couldn’t figure out why until a young lad approached me and asked me, “Is everything you see blue?” I said, “No, why do you ask?’ The answer was, “We have never had an Englishman here before.” It struck me that all the people around me had only brown eyes and they had never seen a blue-eyed person before! They were very happy to talk with me while I waited for the bus. I guess they were somewhat surprised that I would sit there and chat with them as I waited. BTW, I am not an Englishman but at that distance, I figured it didn’t matter.
