Hello Stackers
Welcome to the Daily Discussion Thread of SN ~HealthAndFitness 💪Club.
In the club we..
- Share our daily workout 🧘🤸🚴🏋️🧗🏊⛷️goals and results
- Ask questions to the experts (fitness freaks)
- Applause with zaps⚡ and comments on your success.
- Also boo you (all of us) when you miss your workout routine. 🤣
The first thing you gotta do to join the ~HealthAndFitness club is share your workout routine in the comments.
The cost for joining the club is (only) 10 sats. 😜
Thanks in anticipation.
Commitments (You're accountable)Commitments (You're accountable)
- @Kontext - The club doesn't doubt your commitments but we need your presence felt. (This is a record book better than Guiness!)
- @denlillaapan - We're still waiting for the "Lazybones".
- @Coinsreporter - Accepts he's skinny and don't do any sort of workout.
- @Undisciplined - Did 8.6k steps on a dry fast for 15 hours!
- @cryotosensei - The club desperately needs more motivation from you.
- @realBitcoinDog - Cake was fake but his daily Abs are real!
- @Aardvark - That #844843 was inspiring, we accept but have you forgotten! It's Sunday tomorrow.
- @LibertasBR - 1kg weight lost in 7 days!!
@TheMorningStar - Has working out increased your diet? - @Public_N_M_E - Did the Doggo let you sleep peacefully for the last 2 days?
- @Beeteesea - 97kg for you must be 6 feet at least, right? We keep waiting!
- @Butterfinger - A great story! #892963. Punt: Every body is different.
- @suraz - Anything specific (to drink) for health in the mountains?
As for my commitment, I've decreased my screen to > 6 hours on an average. I made a post about it here #892757.
Before leaving here's a great motivational video (if anyone's feeling down today) about the importance of consistency.
Now jump in the comments and let your fingers workout.
And as always...
Stay Happy and Healthy.
Busily surpassing @Undisciplined’s 8.8k steps
Good job. Now do it in -20C temperatures.
Celsius? You are practically Canada talking like that.
I wanted him to know what I was talking about. Yikes, that kind of politeness also sounds pretty Canadian.
Are we flexing our daily steps count now?
Do it!
It's only 3.15pm, but I guess 11,476 steps at 3pm isn't too shabby.
Seems pretty good to me.
Once the weather improves, I'll try a 15k step challenge.
My daily abs are real!!
And yea mental fitness to figure out this math! #893788

Remember that 5 is middle aged for a dog and they can only count to about 12.

I like the simple numbers for targets.
We can aim to roughly breakeven in the short-term, through organic activity.
Long-term, I think the profitability of this territory will come from people boosting posts about their ~HealthAndFitness products and services.
My other territories have gotten a few boosts and it makes a big difference in revenue.

We were close last month. We'll be close again this month.
It seems like ~HealthAndFitness are the second biggest areas of interest amongst bitcoiners (maybe 4th, after ~econ and ~Politics_And_Law). As long as we keep providing an engaging, informative, and supportive community, stackers will eventually show up.

Aight. Since we have this daily thread now I'll post my pushup tally here and leave Stacker Saloon for the memes, quotes and bad jokes :)
Day 497 of 100+ pushups per day; day 396 of 120+ pushups per day, sets breakdown:
50 normal/narrow, 22 side-to-side, 20 pseudo, 18 pike, 30 normal on fingertips, 30 wide; Total: 170

8.2k steps - two more days and my sats are safe
I'm only about 14 hours into my fast (just broke the dry portion). I would have done better, but the kid didn't finish much of her dinner and I didn't want it to get thrown out, so I ate a little later than normal.

Don't be silly, of course not 🤣, she knows exactly what time my alarm goes off for work... But she doesn't understand what a weekend is yet 🤣🤣

She's doing really well to be fair to her, we've not had her long and it's a big adjustment for her. But yeah, just like kids, quality sleep goes out the window for a little while.
Still getting sauna time in to help promote recovery. Issue with a Rib injury is I really can't do anything at all, everything requires core activation for proper form (yes even bicep curls).
Today is meal prep day for the week. No mashed potatoes and proteins this time—this week, all my meals will have rice and beans, roasted vegetables, and either pork loin or chicken thighs cooked in the air fryer, served with a simple lettuce and tomato salad.
Aiming for another 1kg down by Friday!

For me it's very difficult to be a vegetarian because I really like meat. Pork tenderloin and chicken are the source of protein in my meal.
What's your diet? And have you achieved good results?
I'm on my usual routine except I increased the push-ups to 50.
Feeling great after a good night sleep ..
